That's my point. That the poor will be discriminated against.
An on-site consultant could be available to help you maximize yields and help you prevent any mishaps since it would be to the advantage of the business that you achieve a successful grow and you could also meet other growers from the establishment that might want to share/trade clones and seeds with you whilst imparting the knowledge that will help you grow better and more efficiently as time goes by......
I'm not sure if any of you have lived in Central Valley but the area isn't very liberal and there could be blanket discrimination supported by the Property rules.
Well.....I think that all of us that have grown indoors, within a residence know of all of the potential pitfalls and problems that this can cause the property...
I have grown in small apartments before and have had to cope with gallons of spilt nutrient that leaked thru to the apartment below, dodgey balasts that almost caused a fire, faulty exhaust systems, burst pipes, leaky drippers, carbon scrubbers that suddenly quit (so creating alot of odour)....
..and many landlords have had to suffer the ill effects of renting their properties to someone that they did not initially know would be growing within what was rented as a residential/living space.......and not as a cannabis garden.....
For the last couple of years a Bay Area coop has been renting space to members to timid to set up.They sell their clones on CL.
I can see that a land lord could allow some and deny others depending on how they feel today. I would rather have them place that in a contract then to cite Prop 19 that they can do as they please any time.
I don't see prop 19 specifying the terms of this approval or disapproval and in fact I wonder if this will allow by law the right to disallow medical people gardens in rentals.
I was reading the Prop 215 didn't go as far as authorizing gardens on rental property and this will give the Property owners the right to stop medical people wouldn't it?
Prop 19 could create a wave of crack downs on peaceful medical people.
So that ends the bating.
prop 19 and 215/sb420 friendly Apt complexes. I see a huge potential here for potential safe growing complexes. Build a 25 apt complex for people that use cannabis legally. provide space in ea apt. For rent 1 br 1 bath friendly cannabis growing community inquire within for details.
take into the 21st century and make it a reality TV show. Will the commune get raided today? Will Terry be able to control her spider mite infestation? Will Hector come back in time to realize his pump failed and his plants are slowly fading... Find out next time on "Legal 5X5."
Bing Bang BOOM. show me da monies...
You know what would be really unfair jack?
Telling property owners they had no say in what kind of activities their rental property could be used for.
If you'd put 1/4 of the energy you use turbo posting lame excuses into developing a plan for cashing in on 19 when it passes, you'd be a rich man in no time.
It's coming jack, nothing you can do about it, so instead of sitting here crying all day, start making a plan, or you will be left behind and out of work when no one wants your $60 1/8s anymore.
A massive load of lemons is coming, we're all busy building lemonade stands, what are you doing?
what are you doing?
This is what most smart people have figured out. We dont need our potential lemonade competition to jump on this bandwagon. It's getting pretty full. I would rather those people be the ones left behind in the dust, wishing they had spent their time doing what we are doing.
