36 miles away for EWC?

I know people who drive 8 hours for their supplies. Some times you have to bite the bullet if you really want to grow some herb.

@nextbestthing.. i finished reading the beginners organic mix's and it was very educational thank you that was exactly what i was looking for..
@Skunklover my florescent light fixture crapped out last night, i dont know when but when i got the spare on her i seen a gnat fly out.. now i know why

Yeah, Fox Farm is notorious for having fungus gnat larva in the soil when you buy it. Little fuckers are just waiting for the right environment to do their thing. Get mosquito dunks, crumple about a 1/4 to 1/3 per pot then water. Within a month you will not see them anymore. Also get some yellow sticky traps and lay them at the base of the dirt, and a few above the plants if possible.

And, your dealing with a clone, so I would take precaution about letting it go too dry, until its roots are fully established Also a humidity dome might be advisable depending on the size and health of clone

you already have the best dirt out there. might could use some perlite imho, but yes, you should only be watering every two or three days depending on wgt/dryness Lift the Pot method, or at least getta cheapo meter

Hey dude, no worries. For rooting clones FF Light Warrior is much more gentle than FFOF, in fact FFOF is a great soil amendment by itself but I'll never plant something directly into unadulturated FFOF again, too hot. Mix it 1/3 FFOF and 2/3 Happy Frog, maybe throw in some more perlite.

As for watering, after your girls are rooted I would suggest watering deeply every 3-4 days and no misting to encourage the roots to dig deeper and not loiter near the surface. If you have a microherd going you can either dechlorinate/dechloraminate tap water (which is what I do) or use distilled/RO water and add in cal-mag to get those important minerals back in there.

Nute burn looks a hell of a lot like what you're seeing your leaves do, although pH might have something to do with it as well. Those leaves will probably die and fall off and be replaced by new leaves, get whatever the problem is fixed before the new ones come in and they'll be happy.

I've used the whole FF line in various regimens and mixed with other nutes. They work pretty well for what you pay. If you're growing in pure FFOF I wouldn't use any nutes for the first month, there is plenty in the soil for your plants to use.
