Pics are fine now, Nomaad, no idea what my problem was. 65 sounds like a good timeframe to aim for. I think people get confused and take it to 80 because they're expecting to see orange/brown pistils and it doesn't feel done to them until they show up. It's been my experience that when the trichs are mostly amber the pistils are mostly still a silvery color...

One characteristic to my ChemD is that the pistils are pink when they first come out... Has anybody else seen this with the D cut?

I've grown the 91 and D. From my experience, the 91 exhibited more Sativa characteristics in the area of growth pattern, bud formation and buzz. The aroma reminded me of EastCoastSourD. The 91 is a producer and I usually chopped her down within the 9-10 week range.

The D displayed characteristics that were more Indica(ish), in that the buds were more dense than the 91, and the "buzz" was more of a stone compared to the Sativa speedybuzzy high of the 91. The D is a "yielder" as well and was usually chopped around the same time frame as the 91. I don't remember the aroma of the D, but I recall that it was quite different from the 91.

Beg to differ what specifically? Can you give a description of all three? Smell, flavor, stone/buzz effects. Also, how does the density of the bud compare?

When I grew the 91 the buds were not really dense, but not airy either, whereas the D's buds were more dense and produced a more Indica body stone.

soooo...whats the deal on the d?...theres a couple cuts floating in the med scene here in san diego...one, has the (here we go) mosaic virus (not tobacco, but one of em)..this i know to be a legit cut as it went from chemdogs hand to my source to me..the second cut around here many of us call chemdawg...its vended at all the clubs as chemd but is, without question, a diff cut...so i know there are folks in this thread from all over...whos got the gnarly twisted discolored cut like i have?(that kicks the shit outta almost anything i put against it)
---as far as chem 4...i was not a fan for awhile...had a few diff samples, all poorly grown, except one, that was just premature(i aint hating b..haha)...then a bro brought me the finest sample ive seen in person to date and i immediately liked it! the flavor, for me, is sooo much nicer than the d...but juuuust a step below in the stoned out dept(not always a bad thing)

beautiful sample, sub. I just took mine down at 60 days... a little early, I know, but the color of the trichs was just right. Almost everything seems to finish a bit early in the light dep. I'll take some shots of her on the line.

Aren't Chem '91 and Chemdog D the same thing?

No, they aren't. The '91 Skunk VA cut is a more OGish pheno. The D has sharper serration and a slightly different leaf shape.

To really pin down the flavor/smell/buzz differences I'd have to have well-grown samples of both in hand - it's been a while.

did you ever hear of the FFA clone,,,MassSuperskunk x OGKA rez made selected by crazycomposer....ive got the FFA clone and its pretty nice too,,,its from feminized seed again,,,the FFA stands strong with the most hyped clones in the world,,,hightimes ran a 2 page artical on it

id bet money that the whole Chem family is riding on the back of feminization,,,thats why its been so good,,

Chem91 was supposed to have been found in a bag of weed,,,,sounds like fems to me,,[if the weed was indoor and grown for sensi]
