anti anxiety?

Top 44 is actually pretty good imo. Not super strong, but it has a nice high to it. All plants pretty much turn out the same. Nice smell. Decent yields. Never got one that finished in 44 days tho. Everyone that I have smoked with says they love it. It can get very skunky. Sometimes has a bit of citrus to it as well.

Strawberry cough is my go to but I just got my hands on some Blue Venom from g13 labs, this strain is great for my anxiety just fills me with a general sense of well-being without any raciness.

i also suffer from horrid anxiety and panic. i can barely hold my job down let alone drive more than a half hour at a time. i've tried pills, doctors, and just about everything else under the sun. i found that basically any pure indica will calm even the most intense anxiety attacks, but leaves me in a coma. then there is those sativa leaning hybrids that claim to be good for depression becuase it stimulate the brain, but those usually leave me with too much energy which leads to anxiety. for me it was just trying out several different strains to find the one that works the best. i started with pure indica and went from there. i found cannacopia's bubba x deep chunk can calm the heaviest panic attack for me, but yeild is usually weak. so having meds on hand is always a struggle with that strain. i also run GHS white rhino which keeps meds in my jars and the anxiety at bay. those two are the best one i have found so far. others i've had succes with would be chimera's grapefruit x blueberry, dj's blueberry, tga's dairy queen, and any bubblegum. i also found that to really treat the anxiety it has a lot to do with dosage. keep your smoke sessions smaller and shorter and you will have a better chance of really keeping the anxiety at bay. the main thing to remember is that you may have to sort through a few strains before you find one that really helps you. good luck and remember that axniety is not fixed with any drug. that takes time and a lot of inner changing.

Most Indica's will help with this. Finding the right dosage is the key from being a comatose good for nothing or a happy person capable of normal activities. Even when you find the right strain if you smoke to much this can induce a panic attack. Trail and error. When I find the right strain I then have to experiment with the dosage.

I thought I read that swt#3 is being re-release in DEC? this would make allot of peeps very happy:)

Also, I know you are looking for a strain to help your anxiety. But you should also consider meditation. Learning how to breathe again, and how to keep yourself calm and relaxed is very important. The longer you keep the panic attacks away. The easier it is to keep them away. I also take a lot of vitamin C (2000mg taken through out the day), which helps my energy levels, and seems to help quite a bit with my anxiety as well. (Also keeps my allergies under control. Works better than most allergy meds.)

Kootenay keeps saying around Christmas time, would be nice for alot of people so they can have a champion all arounder that is distinct and different than most other strains. Imagine that tense anxious feeling just melting away like when you wake up after a nice refreshing nap feeling and don't have anything on your mind, that is what you can find in some Sweet Tooth phenos. It completely alleviated my chronic anxiety and tension. My life has actually changed so much for the better after starting to smoke it regularly again. :canabis:

i wonder if there is a relation between cigarette smokers and anxiety. Have any of you with anxiety problems been addicted to tobacco? I found when i quit smoking cigarettes alot of my problems with nervousness and worry got alot better.

There are different triggers for everyone. I have 5. Crowds, driving, chest pain, impaired thought process, and stress.

you nailed that, different indeed
with me, it's my relaxing time that is the trigger, which sounds like a contradiction
but when i'm engaged in something, no problem
when i have time to just think, the trouble starts

The local pheno of strawberry cough is kind of racy... I have bad anxiety and I have good results with the heaviest indica I can find. Recently it's been cheese and purple kush

Sweet Tooth is ok... but through the years the best anti-anxiety I've ever heard of is Afghooey. Hands-down. Better than Xanax by far.

a lot of talk of sativa vs indica is irrelevent because what most people refer to are hybrids in reality. IMe blueberry, yumboldt, romulan, and pure og kush did the trick.

yeah i hear good things about strawberry cough too idk about "god"

i like urkle too, some people like gdp and gods gift but i dont like the head on those.

i know that dj has said on here that the Flo never "lets him down." I think that's high praise. That's why we cracked a pack of it recently. 8 out of 9 baby! Who knows what will happen? :) I just know that DJ is, from what he says here, the kind of guy that can have an overpowering, uncomfortable, paranoid high from a lot of weed that people have out there and that he breeds to have his pot get you high, kill pain, and be HAPPY and COMFORTABLE. Certainly the Grape Krush and the Sweet Blue (and previously, and in the future, the True Blueberry), are all of this and more for us. I am excited to have the Flo, because of what he said about it. Nothing like getting a breeder favorite!

Great thread. I can contribute a little.

I've stuck with Bubblegum/Bubblegummer for quite some time now as it provides a great laughy daffy kind of high and I can go to sleep when I need to no problems, AND sleep through the night. There is zero racing, and I can keep my thoughts in a nice place. Some buds get me stuck in my head and then I start getting super anxietal about my job, and big decisions that need to be made. The bubblegums are fun highs and there is no need to 'worry', if you know what I mean.

Since I've been hitting the co-ops, I've found that Mango and also Papaya have similar soothing effects with out the 'worry'. I also got some 'queen' that was good in this area, but I cant seem to find just a 'queen' via research on the internet. There are many different kinds of 'queen' as far as I can tell.

I'm about to order some Double Bubbleberry. I'll report back in a few months :)
