funny, sometimes weed induces panic attacks in me, especially haze crosses, but og's and skunks can do it too... u need to experiment... the strawberry strains seem to be mellow enough, yet satisfying enough to help with a disorder.. maybe try blueberry and blackberry also... I would say a very light indica.. papaya from nirvana or white rhino from greenhouse

Spice of Life Sweet Tooth, it's like smoking xanax without the wierd shit or side effects.

It does not have the spooky racy rush that some strains have it is very soothing and kind.

The best phenos for this type of effect are the ones with purple/red striped stems and sweet grapefruity berry aroma.

my experience is limited with the new strains(older smoker experience)
for context, i have moderate depression/anxiety issues, some of the up sativas do not agree with me
but i've found nirvana's PPP quite interesting with respect to anxiety, the most anxiety killing strain yet for me
i saw quite a few reports on it being not very edgy, some describe it as boring
well, when you have anxiety, boring isn't so bad
it's effect is peculiar, not really much euphoria, more like smoking a tranquilizer
i've never smoked anything that felt like it, no hint of the edgy rush that many strains can produce

From what I understand, DJ short tries to avoid breeding the kind of pot that gives an overpowering/paranoid high. Read some of his posts and he makes some good suggestions.

Feeling good is good enough.

You can use the same trait selection criteria with NL#5 x Blueberry.

A very relaxing and dreamy strain.

I surely hope to try some Sweet Tooth one day... LOL

Anything without sativa influence, the purer indicas are the best for narcotic sleepy effect. Its the sativas that tend to trip me out, not good for people with anxiety problems. Seedsman afghani#1 is a pure indica landrace that is cheap ..

vanilluna from dj short. i have anxiety issues too. nothing and i mean nothing is more kind on my nerves. grapefruit x blueberry aka sweettooth IS nice also. find your limits too, too much of anything can spin you out.

It seems Sweet Tooth is your answer to everyone's question, looks like I have to get some Sweet Tooth! :D ;)
Everyone that has seen my threads will roar with approval when I say I could use some anti-anxiety!

Few Mandala strains say they are great for anxiety. I know for sure Mandala # 1 says it is, that is why I got it. Few more months before I get to really try it out tho.

I usually have the same answer because people seem to have the same questions. ;)

In my advice, there is consistency. :joint:

Anything without Sweet Tooth in it ;)

Top 44, sucks very badly almost no high for me.

That is one that comes to mind immediately, Mr Nice Shit is a great plant I rave about all the time but it has a very paranoid high that is way too racy for me.
