Brix Mix appears to be made either by or for Peacful Valley. You have to get it from them. I got my Brix mix after they restocked(after the exploding liquid batch). So I have been using it for most of this year. (alternating every other week with Calcium 25). I have not been able to measure brix above 10 or 11, but my plants have been very healthy and I have had no bugs to speak of (I have had to battle caterpillers the last 3 years). There is no doubt the stuff works (once again, we all owe T Hill for blazing the trail and sharing).

If it weren't so embarrasing I would post pictures from my last couple of years, just to show the difference that following the advice on this this thread has made. Suffice it to say in years past I fought with the plants all year, to grow small, sickly plants. This year I am having way more fun! My plants are healthy and happy (and (most of them) are big!). The people who have seen the garden think I'm some kind of genius pot guru now! (I let em' think it of course, but I know who the real experts are).

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but I have a question about smart pots and outdoor plants. This is the tread that gave me the inspiration. I have 6 foot tall and 5 foot wide bushes that are in 40 gal smart pots. I have to water them everyday to keep them wet. If I miss one day they are all drooped over and not happy. The plants are way too big for a transplant. The problem is, I am growing mushrooms out of the top of my soil. Does anybody else get this? I wonder if a mulch would help, or hurt this problem? Not sure if any of you run into this problem with the smart pots, but any advice would be of great help.

Yippy Kai Yo- Yippi Kai Yeah!!! Grey Beard, "Took a trip on a sailing ship and when he reached Nor-Cal he made a stop!" Two daze later... The Twister has landed!

What a fine piece of machinery spawned from our contemporary industrial revolution! Giving thanks and praise to HumboltLocal for recommending the Twister a few threads back - Gratitude and blessings have been sent out via the wind!

At any rate, The Creek Garden's Light Dep. has spears of Kolas lining up for a pre-harvest tumble through the new "Twist-me-a phatty!"... Here's a few pics of the "BIG" Garden from top of the week! Happy Farming!!!

Fill! Having seen those beauties in person I can tell you the pictures do them no justice! Toss one of those "thimble size" 5 gallon buckets in front of those ladies and REALLY blow peoples minds!

Keep it going...we're in the home stretch now! (no pun intended)

Happy gardening!
