This is a copy/paste from the same question you asked in another thread...

"Great question..glad you asked..

It's a rip off. Overpriced doesn't even begin to describe..

http://www.mycorrhizae.com/ is a good place to start..It's probably where the great white people source theirs from like others like Roots Organics "Oregonism"..which is probably half the cost, or less.

avoid sharks/piranhas/tirantulas and all the other silly products with the shiny labels..Unless you like paying that much to look at shiny labels."

You could always buy it in bulk from mycorrhizae.com and slap some fierce animal picture on there and laugh as the idiots come flying in to scoop it up at $150 a lb..

Great White is pretty much one of THE BEST products right now... Seriously. People love it and have nothing but amazing things to say about it including me. I have used Roots Oregonism XL, Piranha, Tarantula, and Great White. Guess what? GW blows them all out of the water!

^^^ Interesting.

GW does claim on the label to have the most bennie bacteria out of any of them. I like Oregonism and been using it awhile. I like it. Will try GW at some point.

Great link tho BTW. ;)

mycos are hard to say..

all these are free dried product. my opinion buy the freshest and the one yo uthink was best stored / is stored

freeze dried have very little rate of survival, and the tip is constant application. also don't use trichoderma ( spelling? ) with mycos as the trich will have a better application rate and then eat the myco. only add trich after you know your mycos have taken effect.. which will be a while

I've been putting GW and RE in blackstrap thinned out with about 1/2 part water. Trapped some ants in it and let it ferment a few days. It's yet to go sour. Seems one could easily make a tea and and multiply the herd before use.

you'll never get a straight answer, a lot of people i know freak over it, but other will say it suck. glad you bought some to try it out for yourself, the only way you'll ever know. alot of people believe you cant use tap water with it, but Im not so sure the 1ppm of chlrine in most tap would kill them, as it doesnt kill things like pythium which require a higher level of chlorine

I'm wondering about the chlorine myself. By the time it goes through my rusty pipes, it's already been reduced. There's nothing like a good spray of water to help with the heat. Magnesium will also react with chlorine forming a salt. I use a bit of Drip Clean for that. A few drops of lemon juice in the nute water as well as a few drops of dechlorinater , just cause I already have it,and some organic matter.
I can see GW working with my molasses solution. There's a skim coat of fungus on top. Haven't used it long enough to see the effect on the product if any though.

I just bought some and am gonna give it a try,,, i asked a rep for GWM and this is what he said.....Looks like what your using will work really good with the Great White. That is just not true about using Great White with chemical fertilizers.

Hi,

ive heard alot of good things about your product and i think im going to get a 4oz. bottle just to try it out,,,

but i have some reservations about if it will even be productive with my current nutrient program, i run mostly chemical non-organic nutes heres a list of what i use

I use R.O. water with no chlorine/chloramine at a starting ppm of 0
Gen.Hydro Flora series
Botanicare CalMag+
Hygrozyme
H&G Root Excelurator
Koolbloom
Superthrive
Liquid Karma
and blackstrap molasses

ive heard from multiple sources that these synthedic nutrients tend to kill off beneficial microherd and really arent needed (GW) because these nutrients dont need to be broken down and absorbed like organic nutrients???

have you done any testing with using Great White with high salt nutrient mixes??? and there effectiveness?

Any input is really greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!!!

the reason why it seems to work faster and better than other fungi products is because it also has nitrogen in it to give the plant that quick start. There are alot of myco products out there. truth is you dont need ecto myco only endo. ecto is for hardwoods like birch tress etc. for cannabis you only need endo mycos. great white is way over priced. I like the xtreme gardening mykos. its fresh and alive and only $15.99 per kilo
