Was sideswiped this afternoon while the wife, boy, and I were out shopping for his birthday present.
Fuckers, First thing out of the cops mouth, "I smell pot! Where is it, if I have to get the dogs here you'll be sorry.

I told him to get your damn dogs and search. They did, they found nothing. I don't carry with my family. Cops were Broomfield assholes, they grilled my wife hard, and made threats.
She knows her shit and put them in their place. Mean while I'm strapped to a back board and loaded into the ambulance. I feel like shit.
Sad thing is the older woman who hit me, gets out of her car and says I don't know how to drive.
I'm like WTF!!!
why the fuck are you behind the wheel. She leaves the scene while I'm with 911. She comes back 30mins later with her husband.
So the cops are pissed they brought the dogs and searched, found nothing, and get nasty. They gave me a ticket for no CO registration on my Fathers car. I'm like It's my Dad's car officer, I do not own it and do not have to register it in CO. Then he gives me a ticket for not changing my drivers license address within 30 days of moving. I don't care.
These guys are raving mad and can't do a thing about the pipe in my pocket that reeks of Sour D resin.
I'm home, car less and fuct for a few days. My girls are crying and the little guy is ok.
Mom is sleeping now and I am going to finish eating me all these BHO kief cookies I made last night, all of them. I'm getting toasted, waste. I am having a anxiety attack atm

The girls promised now to take the boy upstairs and go to bed with Mom.
I hurt and now I have to get another car, fuct.
make one wonder, and very thankful.

I bought a Buick, older with low miles and keep it clean and all lights working, registration and insurance in the state. Not to mention a CO drivers lic. Otherwise you are going to be stopped.
When I go out, even to the store, I put on a shirt and shorts or pants that have no smell on them. If you don't need to smoke for the trip you are on, don't take anything. If you plan on taking something its good to put it in a paper bag, in something in the trunk.
Old Buick LaSabres are cheap, and stealth cars law won't notice. They get 20mpg, and have the 3800 V6 which goes a long way, to 200,000 miles. Just keep all the equipment and lights working.
Remember that CO cops at all levels know there are lots of people moving here for the pot, and if you fit that profile, you will attract a lot of attention because of your car and appearance, etc.

If you must smoke while driving, roll up enough joints and put them in an airtight container. Smoke a joint and throw out the roach. There is no reason to get busted for a roach, it proves you were smoking. So does a pipe.

I'm just saying, think about it because you could be in an accident like this guy. In fact lots of accidents get mmj patients, and others, in trouble when they have plants or pot present. Happens every day, so have it together when driving.

They know what the situation is... and smelled a little pot... and wanted to take it a certain direction... though they entirely didn't have to! This was by their choice... to harass & intimidate & attempt to arrest tr33 & his family.

They would've likely loved to have found a rolled joint on his mrs & call children services... some cops are like this.

Simultaneously, been in cars w alcohol & weed... at differing times, not the mix... and on those circumstances... kept my weed, dumped the alcohol, drove off.


The cops can either be cool, or not. It is by their own choice on how they enforce the laws. These guys crossed a line.

File that complaint... raise high hell.

You know that after 3pm on a Sat you can't get a rental car here in the subs.

All is good. typical soreness, just can't keep wondering if the little guy is sore also, I mean if I feel this today.
He's in great spirits as usual, mom and I are lie ugghh ouch.
My insurance is on my side for sure. Lady got ticketed for the accident, her fault, our win. Just gotta roll with the punches literally.

My wife said the cop accused her of drinking, and puffing. said he could smell it in the car. LMAO.. what he smelled was baby piss and dog sweat.
I'm a bit pissed, since the cops asked me if I was getting my car towed or should they do it, and as I was on the phone with my ins guy I told them I for the 4th time I was taking care of it, 4hrs later I get a call form my ins guy telling me the car is not there, when I was released from the hospital, I was given a tow slip and phone number of the impound lot, who informs me it's now 430.00 to get the car out and 30 a day if I leave it there. Fuct by the cops, I told that fucker I was going to get our own tow truck, he knew it because he asked me if I was calling and I answered affirmative and showed him my cell and ins card in hand, he nodded a I was loaded into the vehicle.
They stole our car because he was pissed off about not being able to make a bust. So we get charged $400+ out of the pocket. It will all be paid by the ins, but the hassle created by his conscious deliberate actions. Its a racket like anything else. Guy that owns the tow yard is probably his buddy.

After reading Krunch's thread where he got popped, I realized I had my paitent notebook with all their data and my house leases in the car, so I cleaned it spotless weeks ago the day after he made the first post, a good lesson to learn. I use my second car anywho to drive herb around, so as to not involve my family. I keep it clean now to, except for a color copy of my red card with my car reg and ins, and a glass bowl and my little jar in my pocket.

just as a note, before we left for the day, I put my jar and pipe in my pocket. Jumped in the car then realized I had forgotten my sunglasses, going inside I found them and patting down my pockets looking for my keys I felt the jar and pipe, i almost made a big mistake I realize, but something was guiding me I feel.
I could have lost my kid even if only for a few hours depending upon how the cops would have played out a minor med possession, in Boulder, no worries, but in Broomfield, another story it seems.

They treated my wife and I like criminals and we were the victims and injured party. you may wonder why...I think it's the Dreadlocks we both style. discrimination plain and simple, dreadlocks = cannabis

I got rear-ended a few years ago with my kids in the car and the first thing the cops did was see what tickets they could write, where my kids in child seats and so on. Would be nice if they cared a little more about preventing accidents then writing up tickets after the fact.
