hi bigherb, mate as far as the smoke goes i would put it on par with shantis black widow sativa pheno. Great long lasting stone and a potent high. The only difference is sams oh x sk really stunk through growing, flowering and drying. Im lucky i have a fair bit of land to grow on cause this stuff could never be grown in a backyard. Getting these as freebies is a testimonial to how well seedboutique and seedbay is run. I just ordered sour bubble from the bay and got power kush and OH x SK as freebies, you just cant beat that

Im smoking the Skunk x Haze atm, if you can put up the format for a smoke report I will fill it in as best as possible.
So far I can say that I haven't been high like this for ages.

Here is a couple more pics for anyone interested in growing these.
I have two going at the moment one is a Skunk x Haze and the other Thai Haze although I cant remember exactly.

interesting comparison but i hear great things about the effects of black widow
ime the hazes while growing were not very strong smelling which is not a bad thing as amazing diverse flavors came threw in the final product ,but this year my hillbillyhaze is quite the opposite it has stunk since about 8inch tall
im curious to know more about your experience wit taste/aromas of ohaze x skunk

ime there is nothing sweet in this cross its just roadkill all the way even through drying. It was that bad i poured petrol around the drying room (which was in a shed) as the smell was getting outta hand plus i have a leo living across the road. Im not a great describer of taste but its enjoyable much like the widow.
Great looking plants eeveryone,greenrocket that thing is huge.madb you did a fine job on that girl .Does it have a spicey taste to her,when you toke it.maj nice looking plant shame about the few nanas,from the stress.

intriguing to hear of rks in SAMS line
sounds like my type of smoke im not into the sweet strains ,ive always wanted to taste both of sams hybrids ,ive grown out 2 mns sk/hz phenos that shared similarities to many reports of ohaze/sk,also i found interesting is sams also had som sk/hz he reported recently the first time i recall seeing this
wondering if he used an older sk verison wit rks traits as oppose too his favored sweet side of sk#1
thanks for the report ,although you might not think your good at describing taste as som others, id lov too hear anything that comes to mind

No worries, Ill have a taste test tonight from the plant that buds are in the 3rd pic, it looks like it will be ready before the other.
Thats why Im sort of thinking that the more productive plant may be a Thai x Haze as its looking more like 13 weeks for ripen.
I would smoke some now but I have straight people coming over and it can be a strong high to try and cover up.

That pic is the top part of the plant.
I have 2 plants under a 600w light and they are touching the ceiling thats even after I chopped the tops to keep the height down.
I also put a 400w light about midway of the plants to thicken up the lower branches. There's probably over a dozen midway branches longer than my arms that are thick with buds.
At this stage the smell is sweet not to strong but noticeable.
PS: These plants were put into flower after about 2 weeks from seed. There was no veg at all, which is a good way to save power and you only need the one room for flowering.

The Skunk x Haze I got was a freebie from seedmadness. The smell is pretty much the same as described on the site. Im glad I didnt get your pheno as I dont have any carbon filters. You may of got a really rare pheno.

First seed of this strain i popped! Imagine the chances??
The mum is in good health and clones are coming, like i said stay stuned..
I have 3 ladies flowering, and mine are sweet smelling, but not strong just like Green Rockets.
One had a pungent musky smell early on, but she's more of a sweet smell now rather than pungent and musky. It was a repulsive smell at first. Id smell her once, and not want to again. Could be something like yours madb, but she's not that way anymore.
Overall, Id say they are low odor. I have to get close up to really smell them.
