BE WARNED!!

Cannabis is very hardy and forgiving. It will thrive with FF products. In the 70's I used Scott's Tomato and still pulled in great crops.

Now-a-days I use GH 3 part in coco.

Use what works best for you and your style!

Oh BTW Dream Reader, I had an aunt who stayed up all night for the first moon landing because she was sure the world would end and she wanted to be awake, so your friend is still "relatively normal". After all., we know they can only listen with the TV.

Just joking!!!!

I have an old friend that would argue with me about fox farms. He would say his weed is organic because FF is organic based, and I'd tell him only the big bloom is organic. He also thinks the government is watching you through your television.

Now you tell me.. After i gave away my T.V.

man.. Thank goodness I have my tin-foil hat still.. I need it.

Do you compost? I can set you up with a simple soil mix that will be as good as anything we can buy and it's all simple natural materials you can get in a garden shop and a grocery store.

Care to post you soil mix?

Composted materials.

the Basics all organic gardeners use really.
My thing started out as a pile of composted materials like alfalfa pellet, peat moss, green sand, bone meal, and such..

In 8 years I re-composted the whole soil for the first three after each season. Adding new materials each time.
That is the secret.

Now after 8 years i top dress with a micronized mix and recycle all plant material.
I am fond of rice and fresh ground coffee.

My current "fertilizers" are on the exotic side and I am always experimenting but the truth of things is I composted my basic soil after every cycle for the first three years.

Once the soil has matured it's rather easy. For example I top dress in veg and water through flowering. Nothing more really. Sometimes I do more but only when I feel it's best to do so.

No i do not, but im in the beginning stages of trying and organic grow. I got my ingredients for LC's mix 1 with recipe 1. Just cant find kelp meal in my area.

Im going to give it a try. For me this is truly a hobby, I don't sell my product or have any deadlines to met. So i Can afford to play.

Wish me luck :dance013:

You can get kelp off of E-bay for a pretty good price. It is where I obtained mine from and have had no problems with it.

Nothing is 100% organic with man-made fertilizers. Want organic?- grow outside.

my first grow was the same... i was recommended the tri pack and went along with it because the worker at the hydro shop told me all fox farm products were organic. i was a little disappointed when i found out it wasnt organic, but it does exactly what it advertises.

If everything I am putting in my mix is grown around my house and or processed through the digestive system of a few horses, how is that not organic? Or are we arguing over semantics because of course you can't bring a total organic system indoors, but I can feed my soil organic materials. Notice I said feeding my soil, not the plant as BagseedSamurai referred to.

Why is everyone so angry at this guy?

If you think his post is stupid then don't respond. i'm sure everyone here has made a similar mistake in the beggining.
Some people don't have the time to spend their whole lives on this site researching everything and making a thousand posts about nothing but those who do are generally bitter....

It doesn't really matter...

It is a great product, the thing is you can burn your babies so be careful at first...

if you really want to go organics, guanos, compost, castings and the teas you make with them will probably get you a lot further than liquid ferts anyways....
