I am not sure what you are getting at but finding it hard not to fly off the handle here. I will instead just say that I am not sensing a good attitude here. Whether or not it is a free country is debatable to say the least, but I never said people don't have a right to do their thing. Unless it is blatant harassment like sometimes the air traffic seems to be. I wish I could sue them for their stress affecting my health. The car stuff is not a concern now and the planes can fly high when they want to and stay away when they want to so I don't know why they can't do that all the time. I don't think I am going to talk to any cops, that just seems dumb to me. But thanks anyway.

You seem to have concluded that the car surveillence was just doing deliveries, any chance you live near an airport, private airfield, hospital, search and rescue? basically is there any chance the high number of chopper/planes spottings could be as easily explained as the car surveillence?

I don't ever create a thread and put a time limit on it, I consider it permanently open unless it is shut down. And yes, all those things are not far from me, within 10 or 20 miles there are at least 2 small private airports, a slightly larger airport that never got passenger flights off the ground and it just used for freight and private planes now. A hospital within 10-15 miles and a few more just beyond 20 miles, a state chopper landing pad, possibly a national guard facility if it is still there. And yet I am in the country!

And I know most of the time what is normal and what isn't, what is routine and what is not. A plane flying from point A to B at a decent altitude is normal, a low one, a circling one or one that doubles back on its path, or goes silent then roars back into noisiness is not normal.

I recognize most of the usual planes and choppers and know when there is unusual activity. Some days it can be almost silent the whole day, even a few days sometimes.

Other times, like today, there is constant noise all the time. One sound freaked me out today, it was silent then all of a sudden a loud humming buzz like a weed whacker was coming through my window, it was so loud and sudden, it scared the hell out of me! I went outside not knowing what I would find and all I could see was a fairly high yellow and black plane (not a usual one). I heard that high pitched weed whacker sound earlier in the day, thought it was someone down the road sanding something but then I heard it in a different location and never saw anything. The planes were insane today and some may have been weekend joyriders but I'm sure not all! The other day, I saw a high red plane that I thought was one of those parachute planes or whatever they are called. But it had one straight wing and one pointing up on an angle like an L shape. I never saw such a thing and was surprised it could fly like that.

I say this because talking about it helps, not because I think the sky is falling. I wish I knew who was really looking for stuff and who isn't because the latter don't bother me.

And whoever said something about paragraphs, what are you my f'n English Teacher? I don't see others being graded for their work here! Sorry, some of the stuff here rubbed me the wrong way, a little cranky since those planes cut my sleep short!

yeah man I can understand that, but this is a town of like 5000 if you are lucky, surrounded by similar towns and a small city about 20 miles away (well maybe 2 or 3 within 25 miles). So that is not the norm here.

yo. lol. i'm from the northeast, and almost everything you explained. i've seen and noticed. this is not paranoia. it's being diligent. the spot light thing though. i've noticed this too. before i would goto my grow house i would swoop on top of the mountain by it and scope. one time i saw a heli just hovering spot lighting the house. i freaked. i drove down there and right around the house the light was so BRIGHT!! when i finally got to the house. it was gone. they don't play games in the northeast homie. be careful.

when i grew back there. i made it general practice. 2 grows in a house and move on. sometimes even 1 grow depending on the heat. i pretty much had a travelling 6000 watt setup. i had a place to keep my mothers/clones with a smaller light setup. but it was some crazy times man. almost like the time of my life. make you really feel alive.

no man, I am really convinced 80% or more that what I saw there was either alien or secret government technology, nothing ordinary that's for sure. I have seen choppers in years past with spotlights, including one that flew so low it rattled the windows and circled in a wide oval that included over our house and over an abandoned neighbor's field in back of me. It had a light going back and forth and flew for at least a half hour before finally buzzing the fuck off. I had nothing there, maybe someone else did, I never knew what that was about. But I do know that this is not what I saw that one night you quoted me on. I enjoyed hearing your input and story though, a travelling 6000 watt setup! I have never done anything approaching that big. But I am vigilant, that's all it is, not terror except once in a blue moon, just noticing what goes on and hoping to compare notes with other watchful people to figure out what they are doing. That's all, I am not wanting to control anything, just want to know what's up. This is an ongoing thing and hope this thread will still have feedback years from now.

I am mildly paranoid, escalating to major paranoia only when some occurence seems to merit it. In other words, many of you over-state my paranoia quite a bit. Or like someone said, it is not paranoia but vigilance. Today was a quiet and therefore relaxing day for the most part for the record, although the neighbor kid racing and revving with his noisy ATV at night was annoying me. And some strange animal making noises at night, I tried every conceivable webpage to find out what it was but could not find anything. Maybe it was those aliens from that UFO I saw!

It sounds like poaching to me. Around here, spotlighting for deer, elk is common. Hit them with the light, they cant see shit - a 60lb bow and down they go. Get out the battery powered sawzall and quarter it up. Looks like its gonna be deer steak for supper again tonight honey!!



Some folks do it from the road, but most take out through the field and search the place with a flood light. Chase the fuckers down. Telll them that you hate a goddamn poacher and that youre probably going to call the law.... And the next time that spotlight hits your property, youre gonna put a new drain hole in their engine block with a hotloaded wadcutter from your 458 Weatherby!!!.

I do have plenty of deer in these parts, and have seen a platform or whatever you call it in the woods behind me, where they sit to hunt deer in the trees or that kind of thing. But you see, those trees are far lower than where I saw this light, that light was clearly in the sky and not in a tree. But I do think there could be deer poachers, and once there were "cooners" shining spotlights or similar flashlights in the trees and walking and talking on our property at night and freeking us the hell out. But they said "we are cooners" and I had no reason to doubt them! That was like 20 or more years ago though, before I had any cannabis plans or issues. like '88 maybe. I do have AFOAF who works with someone I know, who had buddies from DEA, CIA, FBI and ATF, that wanted to go hunting on my land for those deer! I don't think so!

Thanks Kalio, I do not know if they are or are not, today everywhere I went there were cops following me everywhere so I thought the time for demise was now but thank God that did not happen. It may happen but hasn't yet so I count my blessings and hope for similar the next day and so on. I don't worry excessively constantly, but I am vigilant, nothing more and nothing less. IN other words, it seems we understand each other. And Mephisman, you are a great comedian aren't you? No, I actually heard of what you said only I thought it was "El Chubacabra" or something like that. Nothing like that here thank God, oh wait you might be right, that noise I keep hearing these last several days, that must be what it is! I am in your debt, thank you for helping me out on that!

Was checking out your thread the other day Space Toker Thought I may have a few comments that may be of help to you.

The helicopters you have been seeing, the red white and blue ones.
Most likely these are U.S. Coast Guard. They fly around my area too
but they are not very threatening. Usually its a search and rescue
mission on one of the great lakes in my area. Look up USCG helicopter on google images. The helicopters I saw on there are mostly red and white with some blue trim accents on some.

Look up the word "Gangstalking" on google . There are a lot of helpful websites that you can read about this subject. This is about how informant networks operate. The informants are usually involved with "Neighborhood Watch" programs. Mostly in the cities but I suppose there may be some in rural places too. These people are trained how to intimidate an individual by just driving by at a time they know that you are watching for them.
I think if you read up on the gangstalking that a lot of your questions about whats happening to you will be answered.
Hopefully the information will ease your mind a bit, so you can relax
again.

If you are being followed by the cops. First thing is to not look at their car as you would drive by. Ignore the car. Ignore the cop as if they aren't even there. Don't ever make eye contact with a cop as you are driving by them. Eye contact is a first impression. When one makes eye contact it's almost like an invite to follow you. If a cop is following you and you haven't done anything wrong. Then change direction and see if they still want to follow you. If they do continue following you then pull over in a public place where you can park.
Get out and act like you are doing some business there. Chances are that they wont bother you because you are normal.
I learned these tactics from an old truck driver in a truck driving school. Just try this. These are tools of professional drivers.

If you haven't seen the "Never Get Busted" video. Then this should be a must see video for you. The video trains a person how to talk to the cops and avoiding searches. I'm sure other members on this site have seen it. I think there may be a thread I saw on here about it.

In the tokers den not everybody takes things seriously as you would like them to. An Anti Surveillance thread is very serious indeed maybe too much for some people who are toking. Most want to just have some fun while they are here! Hence all the off the wall comments. If I were you I wouldn't be too offended because, this is the toker's den people come here to read the exploits of Yummy Bud if they can stand to. It's all about fun. This thread might do better in the Security section where it would be much better appreciated.

Of course! What was I thinking putting this thread here? I like to think I am fairly smart but sometimes it takes me a while to catch on to something and I think "why didn't I think of that sooner?". Can someone move this to the security forum? Thanks!

And thanks for actually giving me a real answer, I like to joke around as much as the next guy (well maybe not quite as much), but you can't understand how much it means to me to finally be taken seriously! They have those neighborhood watches in this rural town, but as far as I know this part of town is a little too rural and does not have a watch system in place. I know areas around the center of town have this. again great advice and I will look into it more. thanks!

PS. Contrary to popular belief, I am more relaxed than I seem, most of the time I am not "noiding out" over everything. Sometimes things get to me like multiple times a day (when it is a freaky day around here it is really freaky, it seems everything and everyone is out to get me), but usually just once a week or so on average and sometimes a whole month of relatively relaxing times can occur. I don't think I am being watched but not sure, basically I have a scientific mind and want answers to what is going on around me. So it is a quest for knowledge more than a constant fear thing.

I'd do some research on several things:

1. Military installations nearby.
2. Hospitals or urgent care clinics with helicopter pads nearby.
3. Small airstrips nearby.
4. Celebrities that live near by (and might have private helicopters or planes).
5. Companies like Blackwater or the like that might have land nearby.

I THINK you'll find that one or more of the following is near you and that is why there are helicopters and planes.

I'm glad you relaxed about the lights at the end of the street. AT 5:15 am that HAS to be the paperboy or a carpooler. The thing to do would be to get up that early and drive off in your car and TALK to the people. Say hello. Or order yourself a month or two of the paper and see what time it comes. Easy and cheap.

On the FLIR note, I'm hearing more and more that leo can not afford to run FLIR flights. They are having to sell the equipment or it's sitting there not getting used. Not enough resources (man-power or man-hours). Do some research into leo budget in your area and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.

If you're really worried, I have two suggestions.

1. Make sure that NOTHING goes into your trash. Here's what we do. All leaves/trash from veg/flowering go in one bag. That goes to various dumpsters in various areas of our city. It's only 1 bag every few months. All stems from trimming go in another bag with ALL leaves removed. That happens about 1 time every couple of months and I always put it in a different dumpster. All trash from the vacuum cleaner goes into a different bag, a small one obviously, and that gets put into a trash can in a completely different place. All ashes and roaches are put down the garbage disposal and not put in the trash. Any nutrient containers are recycled and the recycling gets taken to various places and whatever bag or box it's in is dumped so that our recycling is completely mixed in with an entire dumpsters' worth or recycling.

2. Financials. Be very careful what you're putting in the bank.

Those are the two things that leo will most likely check if they even see something from FLIR. I know they are supposed to get a warrant to do FLIR, but let's say they're out and about and see something, well the easy thing to do is check your trash.

Just be cautious and methodical about your grow and don't stress the stuff you can't control.

And most likely the things that are bothering you have very logical explanations. Do some research and take a load off.

If it was FLIR they would only have ONE helicopter flying over like MAYBE once a month?

A bunch of helicopters in one day man? Defiantly not FLIR.. and if you were running a big enough operation for them to need multiple FLIRs trust me... you would not be on ICmag anymore.

Unless you are pushing some serious pounds out... I would sleep easy man.
