Anyone knows how much they pull / cost?

Cant imagine it being more than 20 - 30 K

I fly one in MS flight simulator x and it is a joy ride, so easy to fly and such a simple aircraft... take off land anywhere and probably dont need to spend 20 K on pilot license either

Ultimate stoner craft

I don't see a place for a rocket chute on it (or whatever those ultra light and small plane safety chutes are called).

Many ultra-lights and small planes are being made with those as options in case you stall out so that they safely lower you to the ground.

It does look bad ass though! Are you licensed or only fly ultra-lights?

Awww... Sorry to hear that. I go up every now and then, but i am not licensed, but still he lets me fly once we get some altitude.

I would fly an ultralight, it would be a super thrill.

A dream of mine is to fly one of these ultra lights by Singapore:

3/6/12 strand DNA upgraded thro spiritual practise
Moist hot tropical air in your face
Sun is setting, flying by amazing Singapore sky scrapers and suburbs with such a cool vibe
Add some fine MDMA and thats me :chin:

But i cant think of a reasons to use it .... you could point it at a chopper but if it crashes you know whats gonna happen to you, so i wouldnt do it...

Anyone knows what application it can serve? It says it is visible for 100s of miles :chin:

A thought crossed my mind - you could point it at the sky and hope that some ET entity might be flying and notices you

It's the new plane for Sport Flying. All you need is a Sport Flying license. It's a lot less complicated to get that a regular pilots license. The plane tops out at 120mph in the air and takes off lands going 35mph. It can land on water or on land and carry two passengers with 60lbs of cargo for ~350mi I believe. Also if it craps out in the air it has a parachute and just falls to the ground.

It's the first plane for this new sport flying market. It's supposed to be as easy as driving a car. I think it's going to cost ~$100k

That craft is hot but it's not that complicated to get a regular pilot's license. There are 16 yr olds with them. I got mine at 20.

I'd love to build one of these!

Although, this would be ideal due to no need for an airstrip.

That thing is sweet! The sports license only takes two weeks (I think) as compared to however long a regular license is and is much cheaper from what I've read. I guess I didn't mean so much complicated as it's cheaper and takes less time.

I'd really like to get either one in the future. It must be a blast to fly.

I dont think you need your license for an ultra light. Anything under like 300 pounds in the US is flyable without a license.
