seriously? i don't know any 18-21 year-olds who don't puff.

I don't know any 18-20 and honestly couldn't give a fuck about them. To say your not voting for this because it's not "fair" to under 21s is a pathetic and selfish thought process. I've smoked since I was 12. I didn't have 215 or any of the shit and never thought I would. Even if I was under 21 I would still be excited that I may be able to smoke legally very soon. Many people who need it can get it through 215. Everyone should vote for this as it is much better than current mj policy.

How about get your rec which is more laxed than prop 19! Why give the people who are for prohibition power to tax and regulate our marijuana.

It is desperation based on fear and it not moving fast enough for some... so vote for anything that will wink its eye at you.

oh, the horror of it all, i cant drive around with more than a oz. at any time, oh how horrible, i drive to buy an oz, drop off at home, go buy another oz. drop off at home. cities can ban the sale of, but not transporting thru their city. or i can grow at home..who would not vote for this?..

Tell me how prop19 will keep more people out of jail if prop19 will have no effect on the people being arrested now?

Again people that are being arrested are because they have more than an oz on them at the time of arrest not for what they have at home.

I don't care what you have at your house, I care about what people have on them when they are out and about getting arrested. Again they are not getting arrested at home they are getting arrested out and about with more than an oz on them. So again tell me how prop 19 will stop that????

It won't.

Because they are trying to encourage legitimate canna business while removing the underground black market. Why do you need more than an ounce to smoke? You don't. All of you are talking about moving qps and lbs. It's obvious your selling that shit. Nobody buys that much for personal. The limits set in 19 are the absolutely bare minimum and gives localities the power to raise those numbers significantly. I remember the anti 215ers bitching about the 3/3 plant count, now under that same law you xcan grow as much as you want. This is exactly what will happend with 19. I GUARANTEE IT.

ill try this one more time...

your driving down the road with 10 lbs now... cop pulls you over and smells pot. this is probable cause to suspect you are breaking the law. the cop searches your car. you go to jail.

your driving down the road with the same 10lbs after 19 passes...cop pulls you over and smells pot. possession is not illegal therefore not probable cause to search. you get a speeding ticket and drive home.
------------------------------------------------------------------

your sitting at home toking a fatty with a small closet grow and a pound of cured product now and the cops kick in your door on a wrong address (has happened). you go to jail.

your sitting at home toking a fatty with a small closet grow and a pound of cured product after 19 and the cops kick in your door on a wrong address and you sue them for property damage.

please do stop lying?

why not? if it get's too expensive/regulated for you - just go on like now, you don't loose anything with a "yes"!

SAy what????

Hmmm:

Laws now:

Able to grow as much as needed
can have up to 8oz on your person with a rec.

oz or less for non rec people 100.00 fine to include sharing with a friend under 20

VA's new look on MMJ which will lead the way to a federal defense for mmj

Prop19:

Turns a minor infraction to a possible 6 mo stay in the pen
can only have an oz or less on you at at time
Does nothing to effect the arrest rate as of current laws as most people being arrested is for more than an oz.
puts the tax and regulate powers in the hands of those who want to prohibit marijuana.

Sorry... just not seeing it.

Well they sure can't do it now, now can they? So I guess an ounce is a whole lot better than a bag of air......

And whoever thinks you can only do 7 years for rape in Cali is wrong. It's eight to start and another 5 tacked on if you physically hurt the person during the rape. To me, that's 13 years.....

Ok according to NORML

http://norml.org/index.cfm?wtm_view=&Group_ID=4525

cultivation of any amount is subject to 16 months (not seven years) and possession of over an ounce is 6 months.

Sale of MJ is 2 - 4 years. Sale to minors is 3 - 5 years.

These things have $100 - $500 fines.

It looks like Prop 19 increases penalties all over this community. It is especially troubling that cultivation goes from 16 months to 7 years?

I don't see anything with less prison time. Less than an oz is already an infraction NOT A CRIMINAL CONVICTION with a fine of $100.

It looks like Prop 19 will benefit only smokers who don't grow and growers who use 25sq' or less. Oh and the lucky few who get to be the legal millionaires.

And they call me thick. Why can't people see this. They have thrown around legalization so much everyone is not reading the law and seeing it is a way of taking away rights and saying it is legalization when it is not. It is a prohibitionists dream as they can shut it down as to the bare minimum.

?

Show me where it is in prop 19 that you will not have them search your car. I am sorry it is still illegal under prop 19 to operate said vehicle while UI. So they take you of the car and slap you not only with a dui but 7 years for having 10# in your car....LOL.

sorry... not drinking the coolaid.

Your not seeing bescauae you don't want to see it. 215 is not law. 215 is not law. 215 is not law. It is supposed to be used by seriously I'll californians but has been abused by recreational smokers to such a point that it makes it almost impossible to introduce mmj to other states as they say "look at California . There is no mmj. People just want to get high" now people who actual need it find itore difficult to obtain it.

19 does not create new penalties unless your dealing with minors , which doesn't effect me and if it effects you than your just a spoiled little bitch

It will not destroy the black market as it is not Decriminalized. It is still against the law for 20 and under and opens up a whole new push... for them to make money... and the ones who suffer are the kids as they will recieve harsher penalties under prop19 as I had seen no provision protecting them when it concerns sales.

never said you were smoking in the car.

ill say it yet again...

if marijuana possession is legal (as in after 19 passes) the smell of fresh marijuana is not probable cause to believe one is breaking the law.

how do you not understand probable cause?

OK well try reading this from NORMAL it is a broken down laymans terms of prop 19
http://blog.norml.org/2010/07/19/californias-prop-19-a-word-for-word-analysis/
it tells you if you grow it from your area then you can have it in your house. You can only have on your person outside of your house certain amounts. I like how it is broken down so that I understand it. Sorry but I am on the East Coast and I will not be able to vote over there. If they find you with a empty bag that smells of cannabis you can get a paraphaniala (sp) charge. Papers will get you too so. Your vote will have repercussions here.
I am not going to get a med card here in the near future. (non med state) If it does make it legal here I will quit the job I have (whiz quiz required by DOT ) and get one that I am able to partake in the smokage of my garden that I can legally grow. Untill that happens I will try to get my Organic Fertilizer Production facility (worm farm) running full time.
make your vote count if not for it then at least not against it.
If this doesnt pass then there may not be someone to fork out millions of $$$ for this to get into the 2012 vote. Well there is my 2 cents like it or not
Thank you for reading it take care and be safe.
