Hey everyone, so a few disappointing things happened today.
Two of the biggest plants got eaten, not all the way just the bottom branches it was obviously a bunny.
I topped them in an attempt to get them to come back quicker and bushier. The first two pictures are them. How bad do you think this will hurt the yield, honestly.
25+ plants if you count the small ones and the ones that got munched almost all the way... we're hoping to yeild ~2lbs but i doubt we'll make our goal at this point
we got hit pretty bad by deer agian, luckily they leave enough of the plant so it can comeback and yeild an ounce or two.. so here they are, feel free to ask if you want to know the strains.
Wow it amazes me how agresive the deer seem to be by you. Must not have much food for them to eat. As where I live we have heards of the em and they leave mine (mostly) alone and I don't even use cages. I would suggest you cover the tops of the cages next year. still not a bad go of it for your first year. My first year this was before the internet and high times was my guide, I ended up with one girl that I got maybee a 1/4 out of. I was so excited to have bud that I grew I only let it dry for 2 days before I smoked it up.
thats exactly what i thought about the deer and its true the vegetation that is available for them to eat is mostly poison oak and other plants with small, extremely tough leaves not to mention none of the native plants come close to the lushness of our pot. you're lucky to live up north instead of the desert
next season is already planned out unlike this year where we just made it up as we went. there will be a 3 foot gap between each plant and the fence (which will be much sturdier also).. and we'll either cover the top like you suggested or most likely double the height of the fence to 8'
Damn mate this grow looks nice What kind of ruthless bastards are devastating it? Looks like a god damn deers or wild pigs. Nevertheless its looking fine. How much time you have to autumn. My plants are starting to flower. Some of them are budding heavy.
What's good ThcInfused,
Damb bro, them deer are killing you, this year. Hope they start to go into hiding, since deer season is opening in a couple months.
It still amazes me, on how durable the plants are. Some were nothing but some a few leafs, & stems, and they just threw out new growth.
You still have some nice girls though. props.
How is your water source going?
peace...
