anyone ever use the whole roots organic line???

my buddy just got back from the west cost and really talked me up on gettin the roots line i have just never really heard of it and would like to get some feed back from some other people???

Its a nice line up....had great results using it. I do find that it drops teh ph quite a bit, is very sludgy/not as soluble as some others and won't last in a bucket as long as some others. I also found it a bit low in N in flower. I do dig that they have organic PK boosters which i still use with the current organics... I went FF to Roots, Roots to Age Old and will be sticking with Age Old Organics for soil....

HEY! I just thought I'd comment since I actually use this line. I'm a new grower, but I've done a little research. I've had great results, but as I'm new to growing I can't compare it to anything. Take a look at these pics...they were soil grown in smart pots using the roots organics line. Between what I had seen some freinds of mine do (one of them uses roots, everyone else uses something else) and what people say on the internet I decided to go with Roots, at least for organic nutes. My pal kills it using the Roots line. It is def recommended from what I have seen him roll out.

i am doing their master feeding schedule with the entire line. Ran into a mag deficiency. other than that was doing well. Next time around I'll have some lime in the soil and hit it once or twice with calmag. Also I'll be cutting back on the nutes and don't even bother with feeding the first 3 weeks as there soil has enough goodies in it.

Also.. yes its way low in PH. takes about 3 tablespoons of UP to balance out 4 gallons.

Amen to the Cal/mag and ph problems...you might be able to see the remnants of it in the pics above. Btw, I forgot to mention that that's them at day 32. I'll post pics when they finish in a few weeks as well.

ok so you use the whole line up but then just supplement with cal/mag?

Reason I ask is, I am currently playing with AN and hating it personally. Roots Organics has been on my list of stuff to try since I have played with a couple other lines so far.

Any suggestions OVER roots organics nute line up?

i use the RO Organics line and I love it to death! Taste have never been better for me. as mentioned, i also have experienced the ph drop, but never ran into the calMg issue. i added General Organics Cal-Mag from the start. pay attention to the plants, not the nutes. on certain strains, the N does fade early in flower, but strains like BB and BB hybrids like it just like it is, no additives. on my most recent grow, i skipped ph'ing thinking the humic acids would balance it out, but saw a decrease in yield and flavor. adding ph up in flower is a must IMHO, i always add lime to the mix and would highly suggest it as well. there are organic ph supplements on the market, but you can get away with stuff like the GH brand without sacrificing quality of end product.
