I'd like to know what most people do with their trim after harvest?

Do you dry it first and make cannabis by products?
Do you freeze it first to make cannabis by products?

What are your favourite things to make and why?

First I freeze most of my trim and get me some bubble hash...

Then I run that through 2 QWISO runs to make me some hash oil...

Save a oz of quality trim for butter...

Some dry sift makes its way in there too sometimes...

My skuff either goes to bubble or into the tumbler. I make firecrackers with the kief, and oil with what's left. Then, the oil is turned into chocolate truffles.

Hey whats up tester....
i found this on a site based out of the uk.its a recipe to make what is called amber....
very very close to bho,but so much easier and safer to make...and it only takes 15 minutes and some highproof liquor...http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=133100

every one should give this a try if they have time and extra trim.you wont be disappointed.im in the middle of setting up a cook for 4 oz of trim and popcorn buds.hoping for a few phat grams of the amber in return......i guess its super potent....

Dry sift is definitely a separate category in hash making, The fact that you said trim, not bud would be a limiting factor quality-wise. I still manage to get pretty consistent quality, high grade kief from my trim using a tumbler.

As for cannabutter - I prefer to make it with a mix of trim and popcorn bud. I toss in the bud and trim mix into a pot of molten butter (thats cooled off slightly), stir it up, top off with water until the plant material is fully submerged and bring to a boil. Turn it down and let it simmer for 6hrs, drain through a cheesecloth in a fine colander. The cheesecloth allows you to neatly lift up the plant material and squeeze and remaining liquids from it. Let the liquid cool down, stick it in the fridge for a while (overnight) and the next morning, viola! , you have some fun butter.

Very cool.

I also recommend dry sift. Seems that bubblehash is all the craze now-a-days. I too bought a set of three hundred dollar bags. Now I use them to dry sift, and I believe it is WAY less work, yeilds more, and produces equal quality.
