No offense but any woodworker worth his blade should be able to follow the exact directions you just gave us. Go help and dictate design, it also helps to have two heads problem solve.

Your talking about a rectangle box with two holes and a set of hinges.

C'mon bro. You're making NYC look bad! LOL

 I know, I was just a bit too nice. What can I say, this SSHxRomulan makes me so damn happy!

Or were you commenting on the quality of the drawing? I know, it's not as nice as the ones I do for myself, but those take a little longer than 5 minutes...

Maybe I'm dating myself... but paper, pencil, an eraser & a ruler have always worked wonders...? ;-) just getting old...

I'm not running the risk of paper cuts and splinters from those old tools! Give me eyestrain and carpal tunnel syndrome or give me death!

LOL! I was commenting on the fact that there is no picture. It's a blank file.

EDIT: It has, just now, appeared. G/J.

Huh, thing is, I usually forget to add the picture or have to edit in some way, but that time I didn't. Server delay or something? No harm no foul!

He probably wants something in CAD. I know nothing of CAD, but if Cinema 4d would work (and the previous Sketchup picture wasn't enough), I could make something up for you.

Do you want the bottom intakes on one of the sides, with the exhaust on the other side?

thanks for taking the time... what program is that?

Not a problem, as I said it took 5 minutes. It's Google SketchUp. It's free, and pretty easy to learn. I can't do Photoshop, (EDIT: and I DEFINITELY can't do whatever 007 is talking about) but I can do Sketchup.

i asked what program that was because i had a feeling we were using the same program(and we were)

Gotcha. I've found that when I model out each individual piece of wood on in depth drawings that I can "explode" the figure into it's individual pieces. Then I label them, and then virtually arrange them for least wasted material (like panels out of a sheet of ply). I'm really bad at organization though, so I have to do this just to make sure I get everything at the store the first time (It's a bitch taking lumber home by bike or subway).

yes please. the intake on left and exhaust on the right.

thank you so much

So you want both intakes to be on the left wall by the bottom, spaced so their centers are equidistant from themselves and the wall edges,

And the exhaust to be on the right wall by the top, centered on the wall?

With the front wall being a top hinged door as seen in the previous Sketchup image, right?

And just because I'll use the measurement for modelling, what thickness is your plywood going to be in inches?

PS: From a growroom design perspective: you're going to be using passive intakes, right? Because if you double your intake to outtake power, you're going to end up with a pretty smelly cabinet, right?

PPS: Do you want just an image like was posted? If you want I could probably animate a short clip of a fly around or something if you need.

When you say "6 inch hole 12 inches from bottom/top", do you mean 6 inches in diameter (across the whole hole) or 6 inches in radius (thus 12 inches across)?

Also, 12 inches measuring from the hole's edge, or from the hole's center?
