Parabolic hoods

For Vertical colisuem grow ala Northern farmers are parabolic hoods good? do they help with heat? will they block too much light for top shelf? anyone have any feedback? i want to use the one that allows the bulb to hang verticaly obviously, just not sure if I am going to loose too much light......

seems liek theya re a bad idea and I will gain heat and loos light, anyone confirm this?

You will trap the heat, losing one of the big advantages of vertical.

just mylar the ceiling if you want the xtra light, or go bling bling and order some textured reflective aluminum panels

no need for a reflector in a stadium, just poly or mylar the whole room.

why not use Reflectix? ...seems like it would be perfect, way better than mylar anyway.
