Just by looks alone, I think #5 & #7 are the standouts, but only a month in the jars will really tell. I have had some samples, but I will wait for curing to give smoke reports. I will say that I am very impressed so far...

I think that #3 has some Chem in it, as it is getting a strong Onion/Garlic-type smell as it dries. It also had extremely thick almost matted white hairs as it grew. These hairs have now all turned red/orange and give it a really striking look. Can't wait for it go into the jars - both to let it cure and stop stinking up the house!!!!

If you are smelling oniony chem then for sure it is a keeper. I had two phenos of the chem bx1 and he onion one was my fav but the other pheno I couldn't get rid of either for it's absolute strength and sweet funky comet cleaner taste. Can't lose either way with the chem. You have done an amazing job with them and I'm interested as to which will be your keepers now but I guess only the smoke will tell. Peace smoke respect

Hey FT. #3 is a super stinker for sure and will certainly get another run. #3 & #7 went into jars today. They both weighed in at 2 1/2 oz each. That gives a total 9 1/4 oz from my 4 Fairytale ladies.

When added to the 1 3/4 oz I got from my BOG Sour Lifesaver, that totals 11 oz from my 400 watt top level. This is about .77 grams per watt without co2 or hydro. I am quite happy with that...

Sorry to keep you hanging FT!!! :D I have been waiting to get a new dSLR, but here is a teaser pic from my point and shoot of #3:

I have given some samples out to get a broader consensus on the smoke report. From my observations, #3 & #7 lean towards Chem, #2 Straw Diesel & #5 Querkle. #3 & #7 are most potent and #2 tastes the best. I would certainly rate this at the top of what I have grown and smoked with only the BOG Sour Lifesaver slightly edging it.

Lots more details soon.

Thanks for stopping by everyone!!!!

I decided to get a small tent and fire back up the waterfarms (I have been doing coco exclusively for a while). I will be running 4 farms total with 2 BOG Sour Lifesaver ladies and 2 Fairytale ladies.

I wanted a short flowering period on this run, so I have some clones of #2 (Straw Diesel leaning) and #5 (Querkle leaning) that just went into rapid rooters. I will be selecting the best of each pheno to go into a waterfarm. This is not a knock on the Chem leaning #3 & #7 at all, but both of these went well over 70 days. I plan on the putting the clones the waterfarm system in about 10 days.

I will have full smoke reports and dried photos by early next week. Stay tuned...

Not understanding your timeline

Not understanding your timeline

Hi,congrats on a nice harvest. Thing is I get confused when reading your posts about flowering time. Since you decided to count down flowering days starting 12 days after 12/12 initiation the ACTUAL flowering period is 12 days longer than you say it is??? I don't get why you do this?? It confuses me and I feel like I have to do extra math to relate to your cycle, which I cant. Anyway congratulations on a nice harvest.:tiphat:

Hey Jojo. Due to space constraints, I was forced to place the Fairytale mix plants under 12/12 before they showed sex. Since they were immature from seed, I did not count this time as flowering. I just started counting when they showed preflowers.

Smoke report coming shortly...

This smoke report is long overdue, but here goes... I ended with 4 females that made it to flowering. From what I have read and seen, I do not have any Sour Bubble dominant plants, but this does not mean its influence is not there.

----------------------------------------

#2 - leans toward Double Strawberry Diesel

Taste: 9.5
Smell: 10
Potency: 9
Overall: 9.5

This was my favorite of the group. It has a strong lemon/fuel smell with a hint of fruit. It has a citrus taste that is smooth with a crisp finish that is not harsh. The high is very balanced with a good mix of body and head. I enjoy this one most during the day.

----------------------------------------

#3 & #7 - leans toward Chem D

Taste: 9
Smell: 9.5
Potency: 9.5
Overall: 9.3

I decided to group these together because they cured almost identical. I could not tell them apart actually. It has a strong complex smell that is musky with some onion and garlic. The taste is a little flat but again very complex. The high is very strong with a little more body than head. For the non-heavy weight, this is definitely one-hit wonder. I became a little bored with this as it is a little one-dimensional for me.

----------------------------------------

#5 - leans toward Querkle

Taste: 9
Smell: 8.5
Potency: 9
Overall: 8.8

I had such high hopes for this one, as it smelled beyond dank in flowering, but it seemed to lose its smell and flavor as it dried. The smell was not too strong with mild fruit. The taste picked up some additional flavors of citrus and fruit. The potency was solid with some nice head high.

----------------------------------------

I am currently flowering out the mothers of #2, #5 & #7 (I let #3 go). They are now 19 days into flower and much larger than the previous run. I have a male BOG Sour Lifesaver that is open-pollinating these three along with my keeper female Sour Lifesaver. While I took clones of my Fairytale ladies, I am really looking forward to exploring my new seeds. I will be sending some into the server fund for sure...
