Dr Dog, whats the reason behind the large plants? Im almost sure I could take the same amount of lights and pull more weight in a year than someone growing plants that big with that much wasted light.

The main reason is that those plants were vegging for 3 months as I was waiting on some stuff, so they started big, and I wanted to see what they would do as monsters

I asked my physician about that and she still recomended that I follow the sb420 guidelines, I know she is not a lawyer just relaying what she said.

i think ya'll have your size a little off... it starts at the base of the plant. if you cound the pot and roots sure... but that would mean i have 15 footers outdoor... dont think so.

Teeg - Thats fine but you should really consult a lawyer for legal advice and a doctor for your medical advice. My lawyer has told me that anything under the 99 plants in Cali makes you safe as far as prosecution from the state boys based on the plant numbers of SB420 being already challenged and struck down. You can research it and take a look at the case law if you are still not convinced. Basically the court said that patients cannot be told how much medicine they are allowed to have by police on the state level. Good luck either way.

Thanks rainman,Yea I definitely should consult with a lawyer. Yea I have heard less than 99 plants pretty much means your safe, but its so hard to stay under if your taking clones, have mothers, a veg room, and pre veg, and running seeds searching for different phenos, and not to mention a full bloom room that is never empty.

That's cool, and I hear what yer sayin'.. But our local DA insists that county set limits still apply. Can this be right?

sick thread...i was thinking of going big because of numbers restrictions too...only flipside is the veg time, what are yall using to veg them that long..would using a CFL or MH save money on eletricity? im vegging with a 150HPS but its either that or a 400 MH and im trying to save money on the power bill

and the limit is really 99 now? my state limit says 6/12 but im not in oakland...in another part of alameda county

I grow legaly and I am limited to 6 plants, the VEG time does not apply when i can go to my dispensory and BUY FOUR FOOT plants for $80.00 ea, and a little training later, i am pulling 14-20oz each (6 plants under 2 - 1000 hortilux HPS) I LOVE BIG TREES

my heart hurts for those who pay for a cannabis plant,especially those who pay the price twice when they take it home and get tons of bugs.

anywho TREES RULE!!! id like to get some indoor in ground 10ft trees goin next to a custom built 55gal barrel under current system with 10 footers in em too!!
