We have two Cairns. This one, the oldest, has never taught to be under command. He´s very much his own.
And he loves to hang out in the canna-garden.
He has only killed a few plants through the years...

Nice work again, this year Paddi. Looking forward to the grow.

I just have a question, This year, I planted in terraces, or raised beds. I was wondering if you top the plants when they are planted close together? I have planting beds that measure 6 foot X 6 foot, and have up to 25-30 plants that are un sexed. So I am expecting half to be males, which will leave me with 15 or so females.

I was wondering if you top the plants when they are planted close together?

Topping a plant can be great, but not when they´re standing close outside....
I only have a few topped plants outside, stems are a little weaker, and you have to take care a lot.

I think it´s better to bend/tie the girls down - much or little - depends on your surroundings. Well, that´ll give you a lot of work too

This year I´ll mostly let them grow their own way.....some close together, others alone or two together



Plants are growing really fast now. Some early girls have started flowering
