Links wanted on here for growroom construction.

:ying:G'Day guys, i can't read well and i was wondering if some of you could put up some links here from this site on Growroom construction from start to finish. I have been out of touch for the last 3 years and i am having trouble finding threads with more pictures.

My room will be started soon, but want some more ideas of what people are using these days. I searched the forums but noticed a lot of threads where people are asking questions, but couldnt find one thread explaining the construction of a room starting with the first nail, so to speak.

If you have some of these links saved, could you share them with me as i havent got the time to be searching every thread.

SPECS: My room area i wish to build in is 5.1 metres, (or 17 foot) by 3.3 metres, (11 foot). Thanks in advance for the info as it will be muchly appreciated.

Dont need info on lighting, fans, systems, ventilation, scrubbers, etc as i have a wide collection of everything in those areas, just building specs as i am no carpenter so to speak.... HELP :gday:

You really are not going to find a step by step as every room is different. Some frame with 2x4's and drywall. Some use 2x4's and panda film. Some just wing it

Framing a grow room is not rocket science. Pick up a book from your local home improvement store.

Every wall needs a top plate, and bottom plate, then studs every 16-24".

Do you need 4 walls, or are you using any existing walls? In a garage you can use a corner and use two walls, so you only have to frame 2 walls.

start diggin, ICMAG has all sorts of info, no hand holding here, do it yourself. Building a room is simple. You just need to a place to set up your equip

Have you thought about what type of system you wanna rock? ef rdwc dwc soil uc mpb sea scrog etc...

This will determine your room design, so if you have all your lights etc ready or know what you want...backwards engineer your room design to the specs you need for the type of grow op you wish to go with.

There are no cut and dried room plans here on ICMAG or the net, just ideas and other peoples work to use as an example.

Tents have gained a lot of popularity over the last few years. May be a good route for you.
They kinda seem expensive until you add up all the materials and time to build a custom chamber.

Thanks Sleepy and all who replied, thats what i was after. Bit of a dumb-ass when it comes to sites, and this one is so big, it would of taken me ages to work out where that was LMFAO.
