This will be my first grow thread on IC. I have had a few successful OD crops the past couple years. Hopefully this will be my best yet. I'm starting this thread early so I can keep dates and stats, i prolly won't update much till late summer.
I grow OD in 5gal pots, filled with Ocean Forest, and a lil extra perlite, and dolemite.

Strains. 1 Underdawg#1(april 20th), 1 Fugu Kush(may 1st), 1 FK, 2 SFVbx2(may 17th), 1 Querkle, (June 1st), WreckD,and Querkle(mid June), 1 sfv(late june), 1 MountainMadness F2, and 1 MMf2 x RasberryKush July 1st. I know i'm crazy but this is the way I have to do it.

Yea thanx Santa, I love lst, it is the best style for me mixed with alil suppercropping here and there. I like to keep the plants fairly short, nosey neighbors, plus having lots of smaller buds as opposed to a few big ones will keep bud rot in check.

Not a whole lot going on, so I'll throw up some shots from a couple years ago.

First up some Querkle

same plant few weeks later

This is my favorite Querkle pheno I've had, from around 5 different females. The most Indy dom growth structure, and sublime sweet grape flavor.

Hey Tex, I think some of my probs with mould and Querkle can be attributed to letting them go too long, so yea it seems I should shoot for mid/end Sept instead of early Oct. I'll be sure to pop in and check out your ladies.

Thanx #1cheese, hopefully this year turns out better than last, always learning, and tweeking things.

Sup Dirk, yield has been my only real problem, I know when I started out they were not getting enough light. Last year was my best and I still only averaged about 2 zips per plant. Any advise?

Yea Dirk, They were prolly only getting, 6,or 7 hours full sun. This year i'm shooting for 9/10 hours. I'm thinking I can double my yield. Also last year I started late, and most girls were in 3, and 4 gal pots.

My 2 Candy mixes turned out male, I'll get a few pics before I murder them. So far I have 2 confirmed fems, 1 Underdawg#1, and a Fugu Kush that I accidently topped, while training. I was pissed I took off like the top 4 nodes, I tryed to bandage her up, but that bitch broke clean off.

Alright some veg pics woohoo.

I always forget to right things down, so its hard to figure out what works best.
I'm trying out some new soil, Dr Earths planting mix. $13.00, compared to the $28.00, I'm paying for Ocean Forest. I think I'm done with OF anyway, was paying $20 like two years ago. Another 2 years that shite will be $40:moon:. Anybody have thoughts on Black gold, I may give that a go.

Half bag Dr Earth
Half small bag perlite
1/4 medium bag ewc
9 Tbls soil sweetner(dolomite)
2 big Tbls rock phosphate

sfv2,Querkle1 12in pots, and sfv3 8in pot.

A

argoagro

As for the yield thing, what about taking 2 out & plopping them on top of one 35 gallon rubbermaid and see how it compares.
