jewellery lost my engagement ring

bought ring few weeks ago but it needed resizing so they sent it off went to the shop today they said it wernt back yet but theyl get onto the company that resizes the rings for them and theyl let me know well just had a call and the companys missplaced the ring cant find it any were so there guna send some rings to the shop as a replacement for me to look at or theyl refund my money back do think im in the right to expect some compensation

yes, anytime they screw up, the ball is in your hands. if you dont like any of the rings they send, have them either send more, or refund your money. they do not want to refund your money, as its a business that makes profit off it's transactions. they will be able to eat the cost of a more expensive ring, and still make some money.

Chances are the a resizing company will send you some rings that they have on hand. Rings that were never recovered or picked up. You may get a real deal, or a piece of junk, have the rings looked at by a gemologist then decide if you'll take a ring or show me the money.

i would look at the rings first and research how much their worth make sure your not gettin ripped,and if they are less ask them to just give you the difference or a complete refund,in the end just dont accept less.

well just got back from the shop now the ring they lost was a quater carat and they have replaced it way a half carat ring worth double what i paid for the original so think i got a pretty good deal

I am glad they hooked you up with a better ring. I would sell it, buy a quarter carat ring and use the rest of the money to pay for some schooling. Fuck man, that was one long sentence. Theyl, wernt and guna aren't words, & there should be they're

Here's how it should of looked:

I bought a ring a few weeks ago, but it needed to be re-sized. So the jeweler sent it off to a shop that does their work. After speaking with them today they informed it wasn't back yet but they'll get a hold of the company that re-sizes the rings and get an update on my ring. They just informed me the company misplaced my ring. They offered to send some rings to the shop as replacements for me to look at or refund my money. Do you think I'm in the right to expect some compensation?
