Congrats on the trout Kush Farmer. Sorry if I'm posting too late for my input to be of help but here's what's been working for me the past few weeks. I take advantage of the calm mornings and toss topwaters like the the Zara Spook, Top Dawg and the ever faithful MirroLures. For live bait I've been using mud minnows and finger mullet either on redhead jigs being cast towards grassy banks or oyster shoals. I also use a very standard inshore bottom rig like this:
wrcp4z.jpg

12lb. test line, 1-4oz weight depending on current, florocarbon leader about 6-10 inches long and #1 or 2 Owner circle hooks. You can let this rig sit on the bottom or slide it along like a jig.
Best of luck to you and I hope you didn't get caught in those storms today.:lightning:

Thanks for the advise!! It's never too late because I'll never quit fishing!!! I was running a very similar rig this weekend. The only difference was a double leader. Still ended up with mostly trout. My buddy pulled one Red Bass that wasn't a keeper. I heard of a little local spot that Black Drum are hitting hard at. I think we are going to hit it this weekend. The storms went right passed us where we were casting at but washed camp out pretty good.

Thanks Too old to care. Sounds like we need a Florida fishing thread and to be quite honest I've heard that "under baiting" can lead to high amounts of stress and "over baiting" will make you go blind. :)

That was too funny!!

Da Cannabis College...recognise the sign Evlme2. Such a nice place, such friendly people.

If they are correct, that plant is almost ready for harvest.

Hey All,

Just started a new thread for all the fishing folk out there. that way we can all get together and share some lies, tips and hot spots. So stop on by and check out the fish porn.

Just a taste.

No worries TOTC, it's cool to have a place to share these pics and stories with friends of the same mindset. Thanks for hookin' it up. Too much smoke and not enough coffee makes for bad puns.

On another front, I recently decided to start some MOD Godberry beans because I realized that my stash was dwindling down to almost nothing but Jack Herer. The JH strain I have just turns me into a complete zombie so I was looking for something a little less potent with a good aroma & flavor. Anyways, I soaked the beans overnight in RO H2O, then dropped them coco peat and 24 hours later all of them had sprouted.

I've searched the site numerous times and have almost every picture, comment and thread about Godberry saved but I was hoping there was someone here who had grown or smoked this strain and maybe didn't get around to sharing their experience with it yet. Any and all input is appreciated!

Thanks.....:tiphat:

Keep it good in your neighborhood and be safe!

Funny Mag...we are Borg.

Kinda bummed. Just checked the kids and 3 out of 4 got balls. I'm so pisssed. You feed em, water em, get new shoes and one day you drop the soap in the shower and your boned.:yoinks: Hopefully the remaining one will turn out to be a girl. Anyone think if I can make any honey oil out of the boys or is it not worth it?

At least I got my first grow going without too many disasters thanks to you all.

I'm also pleased to say I went 12 for 12 in the cloning dept.:jump:

Maybe I'll just whack the boys and practice my curing for the real thing.

Stay green

I'm hitting up sebastian inlet this weekend. Hopfully I get a few snook, and a couple of snapper to bag. I know I can't bring home the snook now but nobody I mean nobody is going to make me throw back my snapper.LOL. If any of you guys live close enough to drive there, I will give you a report after the weekend. Fish on the south side on the rocks that stick out in the water on incoming, and fish the north jetty on outgoing trust me I know what I'm talking about. That's for the snook, I can't tell you the snapper hole.:). No I would I just can't explain it.

This damn threads so long, the site doesnt know what page it's on.
Just joining in guys, from the space coast, and I work, fish, and grow.
Have a personal growbox, but if I can get some decent cuttings rooted before mid july, I'll do some farming in the state park.
Don't you love how some women at a desk in Tallahassee, knows more about fish populations than veteran charter captains. The red snapper and snook closeouts are totally bogus. The limits and slots have been so tight for so long, the snook are thick and so are the red snappers.
I believe somebody got paid by the commercial fisheries to halt the snapper harvest.
And the shore license is a joke, I already got pulled up on Mathers Bridge by an DNR cop. Who asked me to call a toll free number from my cell, and get an instant license to fish.
I told her, a License is just a permission slip, and I didn't need anyone's permission to feed my family,
I didn;t have a rod in the water , so she couldn't do jack crevalle.

yep, its long. Thanks Aquaman for starting this thread way back.

the reason for the total pages being off is when a member deletes their account or posts the total posts reduce but the total pages remains the same.

good luck with getting your clones rooted. what strain/s are you running?

Welcome Roller, I know what you mean. I got popped for having a license, just not on me. Go figure.

If you want to talk fishing. got a thread going for pics and such. Check it out.

SSH - I don't know. Just some bagseed I had. I figure I'll work this a few times to get my technique down and then I'll start getting some good genetics. So far I'm getting lucky.

Excellent plan! I just made the jump to known genetics, but was lucky enough to have a great bag seed stash to play with for years.

I was apprehensive about ordering seeds, but got lucky enough to have a safe addy available to me for about 6 weeks so I rolled the dice and ordered from 3 different vendors (not sure if it's cool to mention vendor names here) to spread the risk.

One vendor was fantastic (good service, great communication, sent freebies, seeds looked good and what I germed popped), the second was good (good service, OK communication, sent freebies, seeds look good & they popped) and one vendor I will not order from again (no communication at all, website was useless, seeds don't look good, seeds not germinating).

All 3 shipped very stealthily, but the one vendor really gave me some heartburn.
