was wondering if these would work for pc fans?

Yea that will work. Pretty nice too. Don't need a fan speed control if you use this since it has the built in voltage regulator.

But why spend $20 on something you can probably find laying around somewhere.

Hey bro!!!
that power supply is a AC, you need a DC for computer fans or you'll blow them...
Wal-mart has 600ma power adapters..so do others but the link below will show you the absolute best kind to get so you can power up to 5 fans!! Mine is powering 3 no problem..
another thing you need to do is add the TOTAL amps of all the fans you are going to use so you get the right power supply too..the link shows a 2 amp one and its the bomb!!
They are just lap-top power supplies so if you have 1 sitting around, put it to good use!!
so check the link to see what I mean BEFORE you buy the wrong one!!
take care and let me know what you think

His is a DC unit. Converts AC from the wall to DC for your fan/radio/whatever, same as yours. Main difference is it's not limited to a single voltage as yours is. It may be that 1.5 amps is insufficient for the task at hand but, if he needs to convert AC to DC that'll do it.
