Darwin's Guerilla Prep - Power Kush, Power Plant, White Widow, Mandala Safari Mix

You can top and prune plants into incredible shapes, but that monster crop supposedly happens on its own.

I wanted to try those two strains anyway, so attempting a monster crop was just extra fun.

ah sweet, yeah interesting will i'll keep you posted if it happens with my girl, i wonder what the mechanisms behind determining whether or not it monster crops really are??

I think it is some sort of imbalanced hormone combined with shock that create radical vegetative growth.

Good luck with that WW, its such a great strain. I have a clone of it right now, but this is my first run so I don't know what to expect from this particular plant. She has a much more indica dominant look than my other WW.

yeah they're a great strain. we grew some out a while back and i had a really spindly pheno it seemed, thin long leaves etc, funny thing is i cloned it and the clones grew up some with thin leaves, some with really thick ones. environmental affects it a fair bit then it seems. crazy stuff. all the best with it mates :D

hey thal! hahaha i think my girl is monster cropping! she's got four main branches, with 2 flower buds that were on each one, and now out of a single bud i see about 4-5 branches coming out, it looks like each calyx is on the end of a branch... wonder what will happen! wow!!!

I've never seen this happen in person, so I don't know for sure, but it looks like you are on the way to a monster cropping! I hope it works, it would create an awesome mother!

UPDATE: ok so got a few additions, 3 white widow clones, given to me by my mate Penguin59 for safe keeping while he's off on his travels! i'm growing one of his White Widow clones in a stealth box, LSTing it. not after a huge yield, Penguin just wants a small amount of his own product for when he gets home. this is my first LST and micro grow, so we'll see how it goes, the link's in my signature if you're interested and if you wanna give me any tips, feel free :D

the revegged White Widow (clone of which i'm micro growing) is looking pretty cool with a few more little stems shooting up out of the buds and some crazy leaves popping up in all sorts of shapes from long and thin, to short stubby and round.

here's a good picture of the longer/thin leaves that are growing out... they look bizarre as, the trichomes are still on it but are spreading out as the leaves grow.

you can see in the above picture that really broad/fat leaf on its own on that stem.

my closet jungle seems to be growing nicely and some of the seedlings have survived the pH issues... they should be ok. have only had 3 casualties so far, 2 of which were seedlings killed pretty much outright, the other was the tiny/stunted clone that didn't grow at all, just wilted and died randomly... i'm guessing issues with roots being put down etc as i pulled it up and it just hadn't grown a decent root base at all. anyway 3 out of about 20 isn't too bad (a few initial clones were given away to friends).

anyway that's all for today. until the next update! play safe and grow on!

finally starting to get some differentiated vegetative growth on this revegged girl! there's a lonesome stem shooting up from the top that almost resembles a seedling! there're more and more little stems coming up each day when i turn her around under the lights. can't wait to see her in a week or a month!

2 of the seedlings died within about a week of the pH fuck up, the rest are healing up some quicker than others. only one has really gotten through it with barely any signs of stress though.

how does the pwer cush Smell ???? its either that or the ak47 but something sure smells great around here ??????? never seen or heard of pwer cush till freebies came . it should be interesting. do you know of any power cush grown out yet????? anyway check me in for this grow please.

hey mate, last time i had a good look and a bit of a sniff all of them but the white widow didn't really smell of anything but plant/green... the white widow clones are the biggest/most mature, so i dunno if it's age or their strain but they smell a little stronger and more like the finished product. nah i haven't seen any power kush yet grown out, so def stay tuned. :D have a nice one!

the rev girl is going off tap, i haven't been able to count all the shoots coming out but there must be close to 20 of them... it's bizarre they all look like seedlings. i think there must be something about changing the hormones back to veg hormones by putting it back into veg light cycle that pretty much restarts the plant, thus shooting up stems that start from "seedling" form... just my musings! not sure

closet jungle's getting there though, the seedlings that had huge pH issues that i thought were die have all seemed to come back, newer shoots on them are going dark green though the bottom ones are still screwed. the mandala safari mix seedling on the very middle left is TALL as can be, almost as high as some of the clones twice it's age... crazy shit!

Wow mate, can't believe how many shoots r coming off my revegged girl! Glad to hear the ph troubled seedlings r pulling through, had me worried for a bit.

@angel4us, we had 2 original White Widow plants that we took clones off and the 2 clones off one of the original plants smell like the finished product whereas the other clone off the other original plant has no smell at all. One of the original plants must just have a pungent phenotype and the other not. Interesting stuff!
