Yeah no more back surgery for me ever.My doctor told me after i had a fusion 3 level on my back that i would be back to work in3 months. Here it is 3 years later and my back feels worse than it did before surgery. That doctor was a quack ,i ended up going to another doctor and he said with a fusion surgery you won't be able to work for at least a year.3 years later i have been on disability for two years. And i never did get to go back to work.

I just got back from the doctors office ,they took about ten xrays of my upper back and neck. Now i just have to wait for the results.Probably won't find anything like they never did when they took exrays of my lower bak, they had to do a mri to find the problem.

Another MRI just so they can tell you theres nothing they can do. So sick of this stuff, next Dr I see is in for it.

I had 3, 10 hour back surgeries when i broke my lower back on the left & right sides shattering my lower vertebra and splintered bone went in my spinal cord & spinal nerve resulting in removing just about 5 inches of bone, disk, and rebuilding my lower vertebra with 6 steel rods 5 inches ling, 16 titanium screws, pieces of my hips chipped for bone to fuse my plastic fake lower vertebra and 2 round graphs and a mesh titanium cage holding everythingn in place, so now from my spine up i have a 5 inch solid piece of back then the rest of my vertebra bends correctly.

the reason for the massive severe chronic back pain is because i have to hold my weight all pressure on my spine and when i go to stand up needing my walker is to adjust straight and that is were all my pain is.

I hear you DR, when they did my neck, the ns said the span was too great, so they couldn't fuse. He said if they did fuse, it was a given that the disk below, and the one above, would fail, unable to carry the degress of motion, or actually carry the weight of everything.

Balance is an art form

It sure is and just bending to pull up your bed sheet i can't bend that far so i fall sort of and hold one with one hand to the sheet and the other holds me up then i pick up the sheet etc etc a choir just to make a bed.... from driving a semi dump doing 14 loads a day working 12hr a day to staying home thinking of everything stressing of what i had & lost as it plays out in my head..

Anyone trade me a large right shoulder for a slightly screwed up one, even for 15 minutes.I think we all deserve better than we are getting. To be in pain is not acceptable in this day and age.trouble is all the fakers make it hard for the legits to be recognized.Same thing for MMj anywhere where its not legal yet.NY is once again tossing out its MMJ bill cause the budget has to be forced to pass and Gov Blinder than a friggin bat Patterson has lost all credability in my book.He is a compassionate as a dung beetle. It is so bad I am literally sick to my stomach.I DONT WANT TO BE SCARED ANYMORE!

I here ya Big d . It makes it even worse when your loved ones are having issues with you growing. Sometimes I feel my family would rather see be dead then to except me growing. It makes no sense .

Let's pray that everything turns out fine HH, please give her my best.

Well today i go give my monthly sample for my UA to make sure I'm taking my pain meds then I'm off to go visit with a surgeon about options with my gail bladder.

couple of weeks ago i went for a ct scan to see why my stomach was hurting when they had said i had an enlarged liver, well they redid the test found 4 masses in my lungs after testting they were not cancer so when they did them ct scans and test they noticed the pain in my stomach was that i have gail stones.

So today is my appointment to talk and go over my ct scans and see what this surgeon suggest to wether i have to have the surgery and remove my gail bladder.

It never ends, I get up take 16 morning meds and worry all day & night, go to this dr, then 4 days later that dr, I am living to see dr's.

DR-if you are going to get your gall bladder removed try and have it done with a scope.I had mine done and 2 hours later ate a double 1/4pounder and fries and didnt have to park my butt on the toilet for the next 3 hours. It helped me immeadiately. BigD

I did it on purpose to validate the nessesity of the surgery.I was in hospital for 10 days with major pain and fluoresent green hersey squirts.Had surgery 1 week later and could eat anything without a trip to the ER.I was in ER 5 times before someone thought enough to admit me into the hospital where Morphine kept me from crying my eyes out for a few days.Puked from it then too.Another time I got a huge absess in my jaw.In hospital for 8 days on morphine PCA and 2 teeth surgically removed a day after discharge from hospital.OUCH! BigD

Hello everyone :)

Well today i'm much happier, I went to the surgeon to find out if I had to have my gail bladder removed and he told me my gail bladder was fine and that my small touch of diverticulosis can be giving me the pain on my right side but it's a tiny pocket not anything to be concerned with, Thank God!!

Hey Everybody ;)

Well had a couple of bad days the past week. Struggled not having any cannabi medicine, which means I had to take some narcotics, and wasn't to thrilled or feeling to good because of that either. Last night, a gift from out west graced my path, 'Snowcap' straight from Humboldt and by the end of the night, I was feeling alot better, even though I found it to be pretty hazy, but it wasn't a heart-racing high, more mellow and really helped me relax. It was a strain I hadn't ever smoked before and was excited just to try it out, as I had Reserva's Snowcap Romulan and loved it. I think the original Snowcap deserves more credit, it's not the strongest, and trust me I'm mainly a heavy indica smoker, but I do enjoy my haze's and strong sativa's as well, but sometimes the heart-racing can be to much. Snowcap provided light pain relief, amazing relaxation, clear headed and truly made me feel better after nearly a week of feeling pretty bad.

@Devils Reject: I was reading in, and I'm glad that you're doing better and found out somethings, I know what It's like to not know what's going on with you body, and it's not a good thing. Sounds like your being positive, and that's great.

@Everyone: I might not post quite as frequently as some of you guys and gals, but I'm always checkin in and I'm glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing at least somewhat decent, which alot of times with chronic pain, is all you can ask for, is somewhat decent. But It's nice to know that I'm not alone.

Thanks Everyone
