Yoo have exactly the same messed up discs that I do They havent found it but just recently feel I have a pinched nerve, the way my legs been going numb and the scatica is driving me nuts and the numbness and tingling is a new thing I just started experiencing in the last couple monthes out of 3 yrs. Ive had the sciatica for the whole time but when i had insurance could go get an epidural and relieve it for a few mths at a time. Now i just supposed to live with it and use pills to get rid of it which isnt working well at all.
sorry I dont have much info on the mj used best to kill pain, I would also be interested. use mine mostly to avoid the nausea of the pills and help me eat. I have train wreck, blackberry and strawberry and dont seem much to kill the pain but are great for what i use them for. Ill be paying attention to your post to see if anyone can help you with that. hope your pains tolerable today. mines flaring pretty bad.

Letmeout-the chem d and the thunderfuck I have had in past and make good pain relief.The green crack I grew outside 2 years ago and got a 10ft'er and 2lbs of buds from.Nice smoke but too up for pain relief.Not sure w/others though.Peace BigD

Here are some of the strains I have smoked in last couple of years and thier individual effect on pain.Purple Bullrider-best pain strain this year Whiteberry-good for nausea Sour Diesel-good for pain and eating food Lemon Kush-good for eating White Russian-the seriousseeds variety is best overall for pain,sleep and eating issues. Black Dominia-good for eating and nausea(got it for sleep and it didnt cut it)Hawwiaan(Sp?)-good for eating Butterscotch hawiaan-excellent for all 3 issuesBlueberry-the original was chioice for chronic pain issues(wish I had more)Shiskaberry-excellent for eating,lock the fridge.I have had several strains that had no name or some nonsense name.The best of the lot was or had orange hairs and was spongy.Burned slow but ended up w/white ash.I have a buddy who is a med grower and he sends me some small tester buds from time to time to judge the medical effectivness.I grew out the white russian and the butterscotch hawiiaan.The white russian was so good you could barely feel your lower extremities for hours after a single bowl.Both plants grew to 34 inches and were snow white and reeked of hash.Gift beans from Marco at TY and Simon of seriousseeeds.Wish I kept a mom going of this.Best weed ever consumed and I am 47 been burning since age 12 so 35 years of burning everything from brick shit to Morroccan hash,best ever was that white russian.I gave a buddy a 1/2oz for Xmas and he still talks about it.He said he used to sing O Christmas tree when he was cutting some up...cannot wait to get legit grow going again.I'll have something to do ...save my Mom w/cannabis oil and save me from misery with high quality cannabis for diagnosed pain issues-Peace BigD

I am very surprised that someone hasn't put together a database of the different strains, which gets continually updated, essentially real-time, with better, the most current, information. it would be very easy to do

Yes there is a bunch of strain to ailment info there.Its too much for me a one finger typer to copy over and I am a computer illiterate when it comes to copy and pasting.Sorry.Major shoulder issues and my wife thinks I have "frozen shoulder" and will need more time under anesthesia to recover.Apparently they'll want to put me out and pop the shoulder back into normal range of motion.My Mom got sick when I was supposed to do physical therapy.I needed to be w/my Mom more than I needed PT-Peace Bigd

letmeout, allow me to tell you what helped me along with neck-induced problems
rule #1 if you have damaged cervical disks,
never rotate and stretch your neck,
already inflamed nerve roots don't like it
rule #2 wearing an ice collar for prolonged periods of time will help more than anything else
rule #3 if you want to stretch your neck,
you can do it by sitting on the floor
with your legs stretched out in front of you
drop into a bio-feedback mode
and slowly lean forward, sensing, any, and all, tightness
and slowly, very tentatively, stretching these areas out
very small increments at a time
over a period of weeks, if necessary
guaranteed to help your neck
WARNING: never overstretch

Or you could do what I did and that is have the nerves severed in the area of the spine that is hurting you. It's called Rhizotomy,it does help but the nerves do grow back together eventually. It's the only thing that has kept me mobile..........but I only did because it was the last thing I could do besides surgery. NO BACK SURGERY FOR ME,NEVER.

Hello friends.Just finishing up my honey-do list and sipping an ice cold glass of iced tea w/lemon and agave nectar.Pondering what I should be doing next.Well I figure after maybe 3 or 4 micro hits of some Sour Diesel,I should get out and finish straightening the "Laboratory" or my little growroom.I'm scared shitless but I cannot afford 2oz's a month for meds any longer.When I had my grow up and going ,we always had $$ and not from selling any either.I was not above gifting a friend some for Christmas,but there was no or is no or will be no selling here.I want to be left alone to grow 52oz's a year of 8 or so different strains to keep tolerance at bay.Just left alone in my world where it isnt done in front of or talked about in front of my kids.EVER! Thats a big no no w/me.I know folks who smoke w/thier kids(kids are legal drinking age)and I know folks or used to know folks who smoked in front of thier kids like it was ok.Never been ok w/me and never will.Why can't LEO at least knowing I'm a med patient,look the other way?I am going to end my time as an advocate.I have spent the last 5 years writing/e-mailing/and calling even though I am deafer than a doornail,my state/local/fed representatives weekly.Its at an end.I no longer will write editorials or keep a legalization blog of any kind.I am truely sorry to have to do this,but underground is where I need to be.For me.For my family .My Mom would be devastated to know I was busted"again" for cannabis.And with her at least holding her ground against cancer,I don't want to cause ANY stress on her.Both my parents and my Dad was Chief of Police at one time and a retired Corrections Lt. are non-vocal advocates.They have seen what it does for me medically and encouraged me to smoke in thier own garage at family affairs if I became ill while attending them.I will continue to post here.I like it here and finally found somewhere where I can at least get things off my chest w/o making anyone angry.I hate trolls so I will not go there.I really like it here at ICmag and will stay and contribute as much as I can.But alas the advocate part of my life is semi retired.I will always be a cannabis advocte at heart.I just need to shut up and blend in w/the woodwork now.Cannabis is my only hope and it is possibly my Moms only hope to be cured.I have to take that risk.LEO,I hope you understand my position.I am not nor will I ever sell nor do I use my medicine around my children or anyone elses.Please take it easy on me is all I ask.Dont kill my dogs or my kids over this medical miracle,and please leave my wife out of this as she hates cannabis and its repulsive odor.Friends I hope you understand my position.Possibly if it picks up and we are headed to victory once and for all,I'll breaak my silence on the issue before us.Its a position I need to take.Just to blend in and not have a bulleye on my back.Peace and One Love to you all.Please pray for my Mom.She is holding her own. Mary-Russel refuge? Isnt that for Jack Russells? My best friend is a Jack named Ellie aka sweetie bones aka Beety Bones.She is my doll.We got her from Spca and she bonded w/me as I was major sick when we got her.She rarely leaves my side and sleeps w/me,my wife and sometimes our St Bernard in a hollywood king.I love her like she was my own child.Cool seeing that in your sig line.Peace BigD

I had a friend who owned 3 of them and it was like a circus watching them jump high and go in & out of this portable tunnel she had in her yard, very very dedicated dogs and loveable..

DR-they are defiantely fun to watch.My JR is so full of it.The only bad part is our 2 cats are limited to 2 rooms of the house unless sweetie is outside.She hates cats and has the St Bernard not liking them either.Peace BigD

The best part is...they love each other.When I talk to them I call them brother and sister or Mutt and Jeff.The JR is a doting little mother hen to the St Bernard.I have watched her lacth on to his jowls by bititng him and he lugging her around swinging from his jowls or he used to drag her around by her harness.We had an older females dog before and the JR and her didnt get along well at all.Unfortunately she died of cancer,she was an excellent dog.Boots was a dog who was left in our care and the owner never came to get her.I started out not liking her but when we moved to ur new home she got ill and I did everything I could to save her.I was a mess when we put her down.I'll never have any more as I am so attached to these 2 that when the time comes.I'll be devastated.I love them so much.I mean the damn dogs eat everything with me off spoons and forks and I always share.My wife and kids hate it as I have created monsters that have to be removed every once in awhile to have a peaceful dinner.Peace and One Love BigD
