Breaking Bad

I think with all that information they were able to *off camera* put two and two together, and the scene we saw at the chinese factory was the result of that. I bet next season we'll get some filler to that little storyline.

The whole issue of cartel involvement can be answered with 2 simple words,...Don Salamanca! And we already know that he hates Gus.

I believe Jesse shot Gale because after the episode the actor who plays Jesse said something about how Jesse felt about shooting him so it's not supposed to be a mystery. And the gun moving thing was a weird camera movement i think someone already posted that the director said he didn't mean for that to happen as it is confusing.

I think that Jesse shot Gale, though I don't think he went for the headshot. They show him moving the gun-barrel to the side before the bang. He may have simply injured Gale to prevent him from cooking. Or he may have discharged into the wall to scare Gale, to then give Gale the opportunity to GTFO of dodge.

Gonna be a long year. Fuckin' cliffhangers.

he didnt move the gun barrel to the side, i watched it again and again, and you can watch the camera pan across while his arms dont move until the viewer is looking down the sights, again without movement, then muzzle flash ending. Watch the view move directly right then turn to get square with jesse, because if looking at someone from a cocked angle, then sidestep to get in front of someone, youre not looking directly at them..

the chinese worker says theyre keeping him prisoner(so they have been hiding out there for a spell). He doesnt do anything for them, they try and make him...<insert interrogation here>...but he said no, and theyre stealing his chemicals, most likely for their own devices. He goes on to say he is a businessman, so he's an independent.

gus and mike talk about those non A player cartel gangers right after the aforementioned scene and discuss the cartels' probing.

Could someone explain what the relevance of the mid '90's scene of Walt & Skylar house hunting was? Initially, I thought it was to show us that Walt had initiative back then, as he was setting his sights on higher ideals/a bigger house.
We all know he pretty much settled for less when we learned he won a Nobel Prize & wound up as a high school teacher.
I just didn't get where the opening scene added to the episode. :dunno:

I think he was supplying both Gus and the cartel but Gus expects an exclusive contract. And they took the cartels Chems right as they were picking them up

I would hope they'll dive back into the flashback next season, probably show us past that point, and how Walt came to give up on his "Sky is the limit" outlook he had then.

Most likely though, the makeup people probably just wanted to show off their skills... Plus like Arctic pointed out, the Jacket and Boots made the scene what it is.

Yeah this show is tits. I picked it up a couple weeks ago (after Lost kicked me in the nuts. Hey Arctic!) just caught up this weekend in time for the finale. It's nice being able to watch an episode or 2 a day, until you get rocked by a cliffhanger like this and have to wait a fucking year or so for the next.

Man I'm already jonesin for a fix.
Need me some blue shit.

lol whatup randy??

Yeah, i agree that they're only showing us a little bit of that flashback, still more to come :joint:

the scene with PI mike and the cartel "gangsters" was hilarious and awesome lol, i'm going to rewatch the episode just for that part

great show, and that is literally the perfect use of a "cliffhanger", not like some other shows i've seen :joint:

They have shown flashbacks of young Walt and Skylar before. They didn't all make sence either. Maybe we're supposed to remember them all and add them up. There is a particular scene I remember when they showed a young Walt, and what we were supposed to guess was a young Skylar, or a young Gretchen. Probably Gretchen because they were talking chemistry at first. But Walt's conversation wandered as if they were high. The lighting was intentionaly chosen to make the identity of the woman uncertain. The women are roughly the same size, and Kalico reports that both their asses are equaly fat! A flashback at this time makes me think that we will meet up with Gretchen and her husband(girl and reasearch stealer) one more time.

This seasons cliffhanger sucks

Gus has to kill walt in his mind..

He knows walt is a smart dude. He knows walt knows gus won't let the fact that walt killed his guys go. Walt is unpredictable because he is dying and has nothing to lose in gus eyes. So gus has to act before walt acts..

He's going to kill'em with chemistry IMO.

Just like he did with Tuco(i think) and that exploding crystal he threw on the desk/ground.

Within days of returning to the lab he will poison them all and have an antidote for himself.
Or release a poison gas and come walking out of the cloud of gas and dead people with a gas mask and his Heisenberg hat on.

Nah. Too cliche, as well Gus would expect it. If Walt goes back to cooking for him he'll no doubt be watching every move he makes. I figure if anyone ends Gus it will be Cartel. Also, Frank killed Tuco, that's why he was all shell shocked for so long.

The actor that plays Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) has been in a lot of movies actually. He was in one of my all time fave's Fresh, as well as Malcolm X and School Daze. Dude's a great actor and highly underrated imo

Walt sure has come along way since malcolm in the middle. He is a good actor I'm sure aot of people were suprised to see him in such a serious role. Too bad Malcom can't help cook, They would make a good team.
