Whats the difference between a vuvuzela and the droning tone of Mick McCarthy ?
Very little.
BBC please take note.

south africa won't be considered (although it may be listed)
as the potential hosts for ANY other intl. sporting event ever

oh please bro, thats just a stupid statement. we will host the Rugby world cup again, and we still host the Nedbank Challenge (Golf) and many others.

Please don't judge others on how they look or act when celebrating a sporting event, this is exactly the thing South Africa has been trying to get rid of for the laast 15 years. And just what repocussions will we experiance down the road? Chapped lips?

The Dutch are not very pleased how the authorities treat some of the woman by throwing them in prison with rats, but although it is not nice event we still have a party.

Namaste :plant grow: :canabis:

Yeah that is total bullshit what they did to those ladies.

Hardly anyone knows about Bavaria in South Africa, now we all know about it and everyone here is saying fukU to Fifa.

I won't be surprised to see hundreds of these dresses out and about in South Africa soon.

It's about money, people don't watch the games and they won't show them in S.A. pretty simple. The broadcasters are trying their best to filter the noise out but I doubt they will ever want to deal with this again. .

A German club has just announced they have banned Vuvuzelas from their ground for next season.

I can see a lot of clubs banning them.

i'm seriously going to get one of those Vuvuzela trumpets for my kid-it's going to drive my ex and her partner crazy in no time. I'm trying to pull a positive out of the trumpet fiasco...

Funny how this thread dealing with side effects of the Cup is getting double the attention of the actual Cup thread...

You would have to seriously want to upset someone to subject them to the sound of one of those damn things!

If I was at Old Trafford and someone next to me turned up with one of those things it would get destroyed, if I've paid for my seat I wanna watch the match without being driven mad!

Remember when the Brazilians used to bring their own bands and samba dancers to the stadiums?

Now... that was nice!

That MUSIC and dancers made even rivals move to the beat!!!!

Remember folks:

God forgives the sin, but never the bad taste!

I love the horns...The S Africans are proud to have the WC..Let them celebrate...

Those horns definitely aren't as loud today as they were the first day...SA vs Mexico was loud...

You will hear the singing in the matches after the group stages...I bet those tickets are more expensive so less local attendance...

I also think the location has affected attendence...Not as many foreign fans....

Again what a wonderful thing for Africa...
