If you're comparing miles per gallon in a car vs. a motorhome they won't compare very well but it does tell you something. If you're looking for the best mpg don't buy a motorhome.
g/kWh is a good measurement, but again most people assume around 90 days give or take a couple weeks. Now those weeks may add up to something non-trivial. But, if you're looking at someone's grow and their gpw you can account for them.
