High Everyone, time for another fun year. :tiphat:

This year I decided to go with southern facing terraces and automatic irrigation. So far everything is up except for the irrigation, which is coming within a week. I am doing 36 plants this year, following Tom Hills instuctions pretty much, and I am hoping for my first ten pounder this year... we will see. I have shire, salmon creek big bud, trainwreck, purple wreck, tahoe og kush, headband, chemdog 4, blue dream, pineapple cough, sourdog (jjnyc), and medocino purps.

I got home late so I am posting pics i took tonight and a few days ago, more pics to come tomorrow. The supplemental lighting is great for keeping plants out of flower, but as i was coming home with dinner tonight (miles away) i spotted my crop and thought omg. But I am going with it anyways, my lights come on at 8pm and go off at 10pm, and then they come on at 4am to 530 am... i have one neighbor with a full view, but we are cool and this is the country! :)

Here are some pics.

Here are my nutes and meters. i still have to pick up a few items, but have most of my lineup here. I used TomHill's recipe at half strength so i dont intend to need much grow fertz, but will use earth juice products for that and bloom as well.

Thanks for checking out my thread everyone!:bump:

Beautiful spot Hash Man, and nice lookin setup!

So you used 1/2 rates of bone meal and composted chicken manure from toms rec? And won't feed much still?

I spot the brix mix. Go get em brother.

I-Shence- thanks for rolling through.

Fisher - yea man, i used this recipe, i tweaked the recipe a little by usng bulk soil and manure, calculated out by cubic feet, but i did go half strenth with the composted chicken manure, half with the bone meal, and half strength gypsum and seashell lime. Looking at Toms recipe tho, he said use half strength if going in on June 1, so time will tell... Last year i did not fert properly and thus did not get the weight i wanted, this year i cant repeat that! When do you usually start hitting them with the grow? And you are all about peaceful valleys grow and bloom if I am not mistaken? i found a powdered BT in their catalogue that is hella cheap too! Thanks for stopping in man, god luck this year...

More pics to come today everyone, just gotta pay some bills, do some chores, and then I will be back with more. Have a good one, Hash Man.

waiting for fisher to chime in on this one. i know they carry some good grow and bloom fertz, not sure if they make it tho. I love the growmore liquid seaweed. i chose earth juice cause ts organic, i may decide to change when i hear what fertz Tom Hill and others are using tho.

No, I don't believe PV has a grow/bloom fert of their own. I played around with that Omega 6-6-6 and 1-5-5 that was available last year, but just a bit, and it's not offered anymore. I mainly used PV liquid fish with N guano CT's in veg, then P seabird guano foliars and Age Old Bloom. Still, I also feel I could've hit them harder. This year I'm fixing to change that. I've no experience with the Earth Juice line, but may do some experimenting on the black box crop.

Wow. That looks wonderful. Something to aspire to.

BTW, I now use a similar "raised bed" approach now which seems to have really improved the speed of growth as I have a much colder growing season. Conventional wisdom says it is because the roots are "warmer" when they are raised. Is this true or an urban legend?
