Williams Wonder...by who?

With all the Williams Wonder buzz I have been hearing, it seems to be a strain I wouldnt mind trying.
Has anyone grown both? Which is more preferable. Reefermans is available now, or do I get Rez version. Dunno much else about it. Parentage and what not....
ideas, thoughts?

In my area, williams wonder is a clone only thats been around for ever(15 yrs at least).....Not sure if at one point it was a seedline, but great question for sure.

Havn't tried Reef's or Rez's, just speaking about my personal experience.

Hey Whats up WT, this is what i found while reading thru some other threads. I grabbed a back of the WW IX1's off the bay today and wondered what exactly the lineage was etc...This below text is copied from another post and was a response that rez gave to someone asking about his WW and the original clone only WW

"I didn't look to copy William's Wonder,I sought to,and did,improve it. Hence,the "massive colas" where none existed,before.
The cola structure came a wee,wee,wee bit from Soma's NYCD, which I used in the initial out-cross,but mostly from within its' own genes.
I bred a superior William's seedline by utilizing Art In Selection.
An out-cross,for certain traits,then some back-crossing and in-crossing,and re-crossing,till' I got what I wanted.
What did I want?
A seed that gave you pot that got you high better than,yielded better than,& tasted and smelled like the finest William's Wonder bud.
I achieved that goal,every last bit.
William's Wonder is/was most likely an early Skunk/NL hybrid selection...Let me explain. Back in The Day,there were certain clones in A'Damm,same as anywhere,even now,that were VERY proprietary. VERY. "William's Wonder" was such a clone,I believe,and the SSSC weren't "supposed" to have it, (or use it in breeding!) but did-hence,the re-name. What it was,exactly, originally,I can't quite say,for sure-and the lore surrounding the William's history is a bit hazey,to say the least. I did a shitload of research many years ago,and that's what I've come up with. Many would disagree,and if someone knew better than I,then I'd happily digress)".

ive just finished a williams wonder grow with rez seeds and i am very happy with the results.topped twice in veg she had four big buds with an amazing lemon cleaner smell and the amount of resin in the last 3 weeks was amazing ,also puts on a lot of weight in the last few weeks definately worth a look also was finished in 56 days (flower)under my 400hps

wt, you gotta go with rez's ww if it's available... even if reefs is good. I got some rez's WW but havent grown them out yet. I heard the high is real strong and long lasting.. mainly in the body? Also heard/witnessed great yield and aroma. Can go from 56=70+ days depending on pheno. I've seen the 70+ sativa one get reeeal big.. but all seem big yielders.

my seeds are dark and big so im assuming mainly indica like me.

McSnappler- That description always confused the hell out of me. "Williams Wonder can't be grown outdoors without being induced to flower artificially previously"? When I first read this I was like WTF? Now 20 years later I still kinda am! Would she not trigger easily? Start to late in the season to finish?

whisky- I've grown out rez's WW bx2 and was happy. Good yield of stinky weed. Good high. I've grown a couple of reeferman's strains but not the WW. i had good luck with his Kodiac gold though. I would go with Rez but you never know. I just don't like the cut of reeferman's jib!

Does anybody remember the seed company called Williams Wonder seed co. They advertised in High times a few years back? They had a little info on their website. I don't know how accurate it was.I printed it out, I'll find it and post.The pic they ran on there website was from one of JK's books.

I have 1 really FAT veg william's wonder IX-1 by rez right now, and a smaller one, but not sure how they stack up against tried&true nor-cal clones yet... Will post up when I flip em.

found the description from williams wonder seed co. I guess, from what reeferman said in the post, it's where he got his genetics from. They're gone now. Wonder why? Any how, sorry about the size differences between pics!

holy shit....guess I will go with Rez WW...I didnt know the story. f.u.c.k.i.n.g scumbag breeders piss me off. Wonder if Reeferman is gonna go join forces with Marc Emery now...lol
