Cannabutter In 7 Easy Steps!

What would a good dosage be providing an intense but not over bearing high? I've always had pre made edibles and when I've made edibles in the past, Ive either over done or felt nothing.

I am debating to make cannabutter, but I don't want any to go to waste and would like to get the most use out of it, as I will only be using a quarter of ground buds and one stick of butter.

Also, in the past I've simply drowned eggos in the butter, way overkill.
Does using it sparingly actually work?

My tolerance is a few grams a day, smoked, so I imagine I'd need to consume at least half the butter at once in order to notice the effect.

I'm almost thirty now and was thinking about how when I was about 14 I cooked some butter and about 3 grams in a spoon and ate it before school. It took about 4 hours to kick in honestly and thought it wouldn't work initially but was in reading class when it kicked in (the teacher made us be quiet and read the newspaper). My eyes were extremely bloodshot and I was kinda twitching lol!! Actually one of the strongest stones I've had. After about 15 years of smoking and being a legal grower now I'm tempted to do more extractions. Do you add water to the crock pot method?

Thank you for a simplified demonstration! My wife and I grow our own medicine for us and a few friends and we're now turning towards consumables. Thank you once again.

I am cutting down tomorrow, should have alot of trim left. Has anyone made it with trim alone??? Whats your trim to butter ratio???

Lots of people only use trim, just pack as much as you can into a pan and simmer that goodness for as long as you can :)

A few sticks of butter for a decent amount of trim should do it, just use your judgement and adjust as needed

Come back when you have chopped them down and weigh the trim then you will have a better idea on butter ratio

Being such a big guy and having such a high tolerance sucks sometimes...... for instance when i want to eat an edible and feel the effects....... I will eat it and be left wanting to smoke more. I know people say it takes a few hours but I dont believe in that..... If u eat a canna food (cookie, rice crispy, etc....) and feel high or light headed or tired in a few hours then it could be a number of different things that make you feel that way.

But thats just my opinion thus far of course :tiphat:

Tried this last night, used about 100g of frosen whiteberry trim and popcorn.
Dried the trim in the oven for 30 min on 150c, and simmered it for 3 hours with 500g of butter and some water.
Made a chocolate cake with ca 130g of cannabutter, ate 2 pieces...
Took a couple hours to feel any effects.. But DAMN!!! Shit had me drooling for hours!!:)
Great!!

Wouldn't hurt to give it a go :) Keep it on a constant simmer for about 2 hours or longer if you can

i make butter all the time....had wayy too much skuff this time and had to run out and buy more butter...... but iv never strained it. guess i was prang about losing potency. i got about plenty of butter atm but next time ima try straining it and see if there is a diff. and if ur thinking about not wating to chew bits. i generally cook it so long it all breaks down and you dont notice any bits. BEWARE COOKING IT STINKS OUT MY HOUSE WITH GANJA AND BUTTER

Iv never put water in bottom either. i do add water but only in small increments if it gets too thick. i am gonna follow your method completely next time round
