Clones keep dying.

Was that a Hiko tray like this you were talking about.

yup, them's the ones. If I was only doing 15-20 clones I would just transplant them into beer cups but when you start dealing with hundreds of clones these Hiko trays rock, so easy to pack around in the bush, I just put them in appropriate sized rubbermaid totes and away I go..on my frame pack I can carry two boxes on my back and one in my arm, so in total I can carry 124 clones at one time..pretty damn slick if you ask me!

I also like the Hiko trays because the clones are packed together so they stretch and become healthy foot tall clones really quickly. At first I thought this would be a downside but it gets them nice and tall really quick with alot of internodal spacing, as soon as you transplant they go nuts and bush right out. Also if you wait until they are just rootbound they're really easy to transplant..a nice little solid plug of roots.

Wow. Uhm, out of all the ones I transplanted into the cloner - the old ones anyway... it looks like almost every single one is making a comeback? One looks dead, the rest are standing straighter and the top leaves are opening up.

Amazing.

Edited to add another pic that I took last night for a side-by-side look. Before transplanting into this they all looked just liked the worst of the worst you see in these two. The 2nd pic was about 8 hours after I transplanted into this thing and re-cut the stems, etc. The 1st pic was just taken this morning (12 hours after the 2nd pic was taken).

High Country - That looks good bro! Mine are tiny compared to that. I'll get a pic of my rooted male and edit back with it.

I'll have to get another pic of the clones, they're looking A LOT better still. I think I'm only gonna lose 3 of these total. Should have about 18-20 left in there that'll make it.

Any idea when its safe to increase the amount of light? I haven't even tried doing any research yet... but I'm already here.

Once I have roots, usually in 14 days, I put them under an HPS.

Good luck, glad to hear they're getting better.

Congrats on the comeback!!!! Those cloners seem to kick ass. I was starting to use one very similiar but had to tear my grow down last week because of a security issue. Lost all my shit (5 mothers, 12 clones just started and 2 plants 2 weeks into flower), and have to start over. Oh well better safe than sorry.
Glad to see you got things worked out. Read that Walmart cloner thread when you can.....lot of good info in it.

Sorry to hear that man, that shit sucks. I actually went out to get some more of 'em, but they only had one left. I was hoping to get 3 more. They hold 27 each, and my next grow will most likely be a SOG. I'm gonna grab as many as I can find, I'll need about 300 clones.

Thanks for the info man, I may have to do that.

Security issue arose, and I chopped early. Relocated my Mandala#1 and Speed Queen into a relatives basement in the middle of the night the other day. 5 plants out of uh... I have no idea, 50? I'm also saving my 2xNL5 clones and and of the clones here that root.

I haven't paid much attention to them lately, a couple more withered up again, but most are doing okay. They'll be going outdoors when they root.

It's hard cutting up an expected yield of 4 lbs and keeping around 5 oz =/ Let's hope these mandala girls PRODUCE. There were a few plants with swollen buds (all the stuff kept was an apparently long-flowering sativa-dom bagseed - been flowering for 50ish days). Most of my stuff didn't even really have any swollen buds, just pistils and shit.

Not worth a bust, though.

stay safe brother! ...and focus on being glad you had enough
of a heads up you were able to salvage something!

as long as you remain free, you'll be able to start over elsewhere.

Mandala #1 that's the meat and potatoes in my closet.
getting ready to start back up inside in a month or so. Kinda glad I did have to shut down. Not really trying to deal with summer temps in the closet this year. But I do have a patch outside of Mandala #1 and sugarhaze going. I def. can't wait on the sugar haze. It's a columbian/haze cross and what I had from growing inside a few months back was killer.
Those mandy's should produce good if your conditions are up to par. My spot outside is less than ideal and I'm happy with what their doing so far.
