Hi........

can i mix Nutes and Epson salt in the same container..

I foilar spray every now and then
A weak Epson salt mix
and a nute mix...A+B(about 3 ml /litre each)

just for a bit of foilar feeding , anti Cal-mag def , and to clean the leaves from dust

Is it OK to mix the lot...???....I think so,just checking

yes it is okay, don't get crazy with the amounts though.

I gotta admit I never foliar feed though, seems the potential problems outweigh the benefits to me.

If your leaves are collecting dust you most likely could benefit from an increase in air circulation.

If your nutes contain calcium (which they probably do), adding epsom with sulfur will form gypsum. Calcium + sulfur = gypsum. This is somewhat insoluble (won't stay dissolved). You could not put such a mix in a fertilizer injector. If your mixing up small batches, keep stirring especially off the bottom as your using it to keep it disolved.

You can mix cal and iron with other nutes and they will hold separate in suspension. You just can not store them for any time together or they will bond. JK

Incorrect, kinda.

look at a lable of FloraNova and it will list magnesium sulfate (epsom) and calcium nitrate. These don't form gypsum. In theroy they could but they don't.

Same goes for calcium and phosphorus forming calcium phosphate.

I believe Jalisco kid is correct that over time they could but GH has figured out a way to manufacture the suspension solution so these nutes don't bind over time. That's why it's one of (if not the only) one-part solution on the market.
