Well with Canada shame on them for not protecting their OWN citizen. And shame on America for butting into another countries LAWS, that state it is legal to sell cannabis seeds. I think America took it personally when Mark said he wanted to OverGrow the government, meaning sell seeds that even if confiscated, there would still be an abundance to smoke.

Now about voting, that's a two sided coin, because until we have enough "We the People" to vote for principals, and values, like consistent voting for the Constitution, things will be the same. But if we also vote with our money, and actions, that will do much more, simply put, let BANKRUPT the businesses that do bad business, like Haliburton, but more than that, we, and that goes for MEXICO, and CANADA TOO, we need to become vigilant with our rights, take whatever stand you can now, and gradually push forward. I myself am not where I want to be, but taking gradually steps is better than taking up the ass like we have been doing.

Now if there's anyone to blame, it's really ourselves for not being assertive enough, gain knowledge and pass it around guys....

It's unfortunate but having a big mouth paints a target on your hind end. The bigger the mouth the bigger the target. I think everyone on all sides of this issue can agree that Mark had (has) one of the biggest mouths in human history. There was another outfit busted around the same time and that guy didn't get any kind of a sentence, might have been a stiff fine though.

I really don't understand how anyone can describe Mr. Emory's seed business as a 'rip off'. Yes, he charged way too much, but it isn't like he had the market cornered and was the only game in town. There were plenty of other options that were much less expensive easily located with a google search. As far as sending out product other than that ordered I've never heard that one about him until now, and that would qualify. I'm not sure why I wouldn't have heard about this when he was actively selling, but then again I didn't want to pay his prices. That is how I deal with products that are unreasonably priced.I find a merchant with a reasonable price. It's not a ripoff to offer a product for sale at an outrageously high price unless you have some hold on your client base such as being a monopoly. This certainly didn't apply to Mr. Emery. All of those he sold to entered into the transaction voluntarily and to the best of my knowledge initiated all the transaction. Perhaps his customers appreciated everything he did to promote cannabis noramlization. I know people buy stuff from charities and other political causes at significantly inflated prices because they want to support that charity. When I was involved in the local NORML chapter we sold t-shirts for $30 each, with comparable T-shirts available at Wal-Mart for $10. People bought boxes of the things nevertheless. That he did a lot of work a lot to promote and advance our cause is not even up for debate. Only a blistering idiot could conclude otherwise, the same type of blistering idiot that's working against TC2010 in CA. For the most part those who hate him seem to think he fucked up that because he didn't approach the issue in a manner of which they approved, or for some unexplained pathology thought offering things for sale to willing customers is a 'ripoff' because they disapprove of the price.

OK if he sent out product other than that ordered he's a ripoff no doubt, but I'd like to see proof. As polarizing as he is a few posts by people claiming such wouldn't be proof because so many have extreme, irrational emotions regarding the man. Both those who love him and those who hate him are guilty of that.

That he got royally screwed by the US for a 'crime' which finds no other people convicted of and imprisoned in the US is also not up for debate.

I still think it happened because Canadian Politicians are pussies. It's a long tradition dating back to when Canada decided to be Britain's bitch until Britain was so kind as to grant them some manner of independence. I'm sure they would have been welcome allies of the Founding Fathers of the US.

he grew out seeds from breeders then sold the offspring as the breeders seeds at higher than the breeders prices. several breeders complained they never sold him seeds at all. If you grew out his seeds it was genetic roulette. if you'll do some searching you will find that in the end this was well known, also on his forums he threatened outing someone who had a disagreement with him. if he was the prince of pot he was the clown prince

I have been paying attention and doing web searches since 2003, and believe I would have found said assertions had they existed.
