air going through cooltube

does it matter what temp the air is going through your cooltube? would hot air from the attic be ok, I am trying not to blow all my a/c out through the light and into the attic.

could you not get an intake as close to outside as you can, you could even place intake ducting as close as you can to the eaves in the attic

yes I could do that but in the heat of the summer it will still be sucking in 105 degree air, so is that ok? I know it wont be as efficient as using cooled air but will it work? Thanks for the reply by the way.
