Well got my first 5 girls in 30/40 liter holes filled with 1/4 royalty mix , 1/4 amended royalty mix from previous grow, 1/4 my own vegging mix , 1/4 asef potting soil

I have now on my patch one frisian dew, one trainwreck , one timewarp 99 , 1 guerillia gold , one manitoba medicine

i am gonna put out one danish gold , 1 katsu bubba x arne , 1 sssdhxb3

this means i have to bring another 80 liters to my patch which means 4 rides with my bike still pffffffffffff

pics will follow , but first i gotta prepare my patch 100% and clean it afterwards of all plastic bags and pots

hey mate, looking nice! what size would you say is optimal before planting outside for guerilla? i've a few getting ready while winter comes past and am wondering how big they need to be to survive the early months of spring. cheers mate

Well , i always pregrow them till they have about 4-5 nodes then i top , train and transplant , the plants on the pics above in the pots are my guerillia plants + plants for friends, but they will be about that size

But as long as it doesn't freeze you could even plant directly in the soil on your patch

But concerning pests for ex rabbits , it's best they are a bit bigger

yeah rabbits could be an issue, i'm trying to hold off for as long as i can so that they also don't go into flowering, though that wouldn't necessarily be an issue i guess (ie. monster cropping), but yeah i'd be worried it might freeze, so i'll have to wait until the end of winter. might plant them as early as august if the weather's ok and the plants are big enough. i'm also wondering, if i were to top them / prune them so they grow extra tops, will i need to later worry about staking them all just incase they get top heavy from bud weight? cheers again thc

hey DB

yeah on guerillia i only top once or twice but still they will need support

especially if you plan to train and top them many times because once there is strong wind , it is a matter of time before they break or snap

just go to your spot with elastics and search for sticks or pieces of wood there that you could use as support

danm thc whats the problem with shooting the light out the noise the gun makes if so use a 177 pellet rifle.... or is there just a problem with having and firing guns in the UK drelow51\50

well here guns are a big deal , and i don't wanna associate my plants with guns

ah sweet, yeah i'm debating whether to top and train for shorter bushier plants or just allow to grow naturally for as tall as i can get them. the way i'm planning it out if they start in aug/sept they should get at least 8 months before harvesting and will hopefully get massive, i want some sativa giants out there! haha anyway if i'm going for best yield would you suggest natural growing huge or topping/training growing short and bushy? i'm planning on also breeding up each strain i'm planting, ie pollinating 2-4 branches per plant (or maybe just one entire female out of the entire batch, with all the diff males i have) in order to have a large amount of seeds for future projects.

well i can imagine in australia this woukld be no prob lol 8 months veg , wow that would be a dream , i bet you could get 10 pounds per plant like that

Well topping training is something you have to do well , i mean you gotta give the plant extra support , keep training it etc

so it depends on your guerillia spot i would say because topping/training menas you often have to go to see em

i would just train her horizontally and then let her grow naturally

i mostly top , not only for bigger yield but especially because i want smaller buds because smaller buds don' t rot as easily as donkey dicks

but i bet in australia budrot won't be such a prob

So i would go with only training because topping makes for weak point they often split on the spot where you topped them if you don't give support , if you train , you won't have these weak spots.

So just let the stem grow horizontall and go check on her every 2-3 weeks to keep training her horizontally

And because you have such a long veg , your yield is guaranteed

hey thx 4 the feedback , i have thought about that too , but there is jsut no way i can take out that light without drawing attention. They will always be able to see from where the shot came and it is just not worth it

The misery began 4 years ago

We always have had a streetlight , but before they where shining their light down onto the street.

Now we have a "lantern" model that shines it's bloody light everywhere so it spreads out to my whole garden

I am gonna try to let some special wintergreen bamboo grow there and maybe within4-5 years i will have a high wall of green there. blockin out the light from hell

This will also block out lots of afternoon sun , but at least i will be able to harvest my plants on schedule and not 4-5 weeks later

I am gonna test later this season if keeping the plants lower than 1 meter will prevent this light pollution

so training = lst, as in leaning the plant to the side horizontally and using pegs etc to pin her down? lol if i did that for 8 months it'd be a snake of a tree lol

but yeah after seeing some of kangativa and bushweed's giants from nsw, aus, i want some epic trees like that! would be awesome haha they're just beautiful! but i might give the lsting a go too as i'd love to learn those techniques! would be interesting to see the same strain under different grow conditions like that too

anyway thanks for the info and conversation mate :D have a nice one

Hey man plants are looking very nice:) Maybe you should shade your greenhouse, growing them under 1 meter doesnt seem like the coolest thing, it might work though.
