Organic Soil Will Make you Smarter?

I can honestly say that over the years one of the great joys I've had in farming is when we needed to dig a hole along side a vine or plant. I just loved to touch and hold the dirt and yes I always inhaled it's aroma. Different parts of my valley indeed had a bit different smell.

But it goes beyond that really, as it always felt a bit primitive.... in a good way. The same holds true with the bins in the garage. I'm always calling my GF out in the evening when I'm turning the soil asking her to come take a wiff.

She just rolls her eyes and shuts the door. Not everyone appreciates the oder of great soil. But she sure liked my fucking beefsteaks this year. Oh well.

as much as u guys are ''dirt smart'' or smarter from organics, id bet good money most of you guys are overweight, have a history of antibiotic use and have never taken a real probiotic substance for your own intesines ''living soil''..

the probiotic bacteria in mens guts make b-vitamins, which make neuro tranmitters which alow thoughts to transpire, also the bowel that works(shits properly) keeps u from being autointoxicated from rotten shite fermenting in your gut which cant be good for clear thinking.

so yes bacteria makes u smarter, organic weed na, i cant imagine why unflushed animal remains in the leaf would be healthy or i.q. increasing, i would actually consider properly grown hydro to make u smarter as its cleaner in the end, with less things in it that arent cannabis.

one of the most important things in life isnt wheter u grow organi or chem, its whether u take great shits daily

I don´t know abut the ´soil´itself but in the Organic Soil forum..........reading the material that CC, Jack,CT, MM, Jaykush and others have posted WILL make you smarter.

but on a side note. I have been soaking myself with compost tea and my skin just glows now and has this velvet feeling to it.

Funny I had the same to say about the BSF Brew i bubbled. I gave credit to the Lactobacillus for the smooth feel on my hands even after I rinsed my hands.

We may be on to something.

Believe it or not I'm kind of on a Lacto bacillus trip where I'm using it for all kinds of things including the eczema on my son's legs. It works.
I started getting other ideas...I'll report them if they are successful.

I think you are way off in this statement. Compared to elsewhere you will not find many fat, big mac eating constipated dope smokers here. They might even teach you a few things about "real probiotics".

My dad has been known to do this on occasion. If you ever have a foot fungal disease, try it out! It's worked for more than a few people I know....

Well girls are like that. That odor is the smell of aerobic bacteria mostly.

The Foul rotten manure smell is anaerobic bacteria.

But yes indeedy I admit I'm a Sniffer.

Strange though, that yeasty or fishy smell doesn't bother them a lick.

Fat.....LOL

When I was in the Marines 30 years ago I was 100 kg. 6 ft. 2 since I have become`Organic` I weigh 78 kg and am 6 ft 1 (my back has no cartilage) and I NEVER eat McD´s.....ever!

BTW, a healthy organic soil requires NO FLUSHING!!

everyone thinks organic grown weed is something supper healthy but truth is your just tasteing poops n things not the cannabis, sure some people like theese flavours but the flavour of pure cannabis is always brought out with a long flush, chem or organic and will always i believe be cleaner in properly grown hydro, even though im a dirt guy i realize this.

This is the organic soil forum. We don't do hydro, most of us don't flush, and most of us think what we grow doesn't taste like shit.
EDIT: Until about 6 months ago I ran 5 miles a day, never eat Mc D's,only do organic (as much as that is a trial now) and at 40 plus years of age weigh 180 at 6 feet. Highly active, hike, exercise, etc.

So, are we all weighing in now?

<~Organic, Vegetarian (eggs only), Ashtanga Yogi, 5' 11" and 180 lbs. I have about 5% body fat, really.
Organic folks are healthier than the general population, so if you're looking to preach to fatties (Human ones) about their bowel movements, flushing and hydroponics, I'd suggest a different forum..:)

And there are some of our members who are overweight but being and eating organic or at least healthy helps them control their weight.

Not all are thin. My wife is really good at salads.

I'll take my applewood smoked BBQ over McDonalds any day.
I have only eaten McDonalds twice since new years eve '07. Two years six months and one day.
If the organic people here are building their soil and brewing their own compost teas from homemade compost do you really think we are eating drive-thru?

I eat McDonalds on occasion, but only cause I'm a lazy bachelor who doesn't have time to cook. I always cringe and chastise myself when I do though! Oh, and I workout a ton so I can get away with it. :)

A little bird told me you're an athletic type of guy....it sounds like you can burn Mc D's up pretty quick. Fortunately,my GF is a great cook, keeping us tuned into organic meals. I do the soil, she does the food. These things are linked up in the whole organic gardening lifestyle.
So overall,I'd say that working with Organic soil keeps my wits sharp.........
