heres a few shots of the raised beds, amended, tilled, watered, weeded, etc.

i planted my two favorite deep chunk, two salmon creek females and a random wonder haze cutting directly into the beds along with an assortment of peppers, tomatoes, and chilis.

heres my soil mix (for container plants) and compost heap.

update time...

update time...

thanks bone, you helped lead me to promising results :D theres still time if you want one or two of your crosses on the patio...you know where to send em! :D

so, all the plants are looking real good, getting their fair share of the elements. lots of wind, light rain, sun, they look no worse for the wear. the blueberry are really quite amazing looking plants. purple red hued stems, dark rich purple colorations on the inner leaves. i saw a little of these colorations on the mental floss as well, but they look to be growing out of it. nothing much worth mentioning with this lot, just chugging along...

as back up for possible male plants, i have cuttings of wonder haze a, c, d, e, and h, a sour diesel cutting, and i went ahead and popped six more beans :D just to be safe!

i was gonna surprise everyone and put out some h3ad sugaree,(or any h3ad offering) but since hes not releasing anything anytime soon, i went ahead and popped 3 bog bubble and 3 mosca negra c99 bx1. ill keep you all posted on their progress.

all right, stay tuned for updates!

Chemsteady, definitely a wicked grow. jealous.

the only thing I see wrong about your pictures is the fact that I see the WRONG type of grass growing on your lawn!!!! WHERES ALL THE BUD!? (aside from in the containers ;))

whaddup all!

whaddup all!

sorry been away so long, been busy with the usual bs that fills up the hours of my life. been looking into getting a motorcycle, always wanted one, but always put it off...well, ill be taking my basics course in about a week, then, off to craigslist for a prospective first bike :D

ok, back to business...

--micro, kali, thanks for the love :D

weedman i pretty much throw my seedlings out as soon as i think they can handle the light, elements, etc. i usually pick a day when its overcast and cooler, otherwise, i wean them into daylight by placing in shaded areas. with clones, make sure that you adjust your indoor time gradually to a 16/8 or 15/9 time schedule so as to avoid early flowering...unless its some type of narrow leaf tropical (hybrids too) that you want to start flowering early. some clones will flower early regardless...

that was a long winded way of saying i usually keep my seedlings in smaller 2 gal containers until they sex then repot up to either a intermediate pot or a final resting place depending on how the plant grows throughout the first part of the season. my rationale being that i dont want to waste resources on a plant that is either lagging and or a male..

hth, dude :D

updates!

updates!

so, since the bog seeds were such a bust (probably just old seeds, bog has a great reputation, i should probably try and contact that guy...) i picked up a clone of blue moon rocks that i have been weaning to the current outdoor light schedule. the only bog seed to pop is a mutant, that im growing in coco to see what comes of it. either way, i wanted to give bogs weed a go, so now my bases are covered with the bmr.

all three c99 are out in coco and doing well, along with two deep chunk, a chunk d, an x-18, and another blueberry.

i harvested the two deep chunk i put our early in the season (they finished up so fast!) for straight hash, and let me tell you...its a beautiful thing :D

out of the initial 15 seeds, 4 were male, 11 female. heres the break down:

4 males, 1 bb, 1 X-18, 1 MF, 1 spice (nice!)
11 females, 2 bb, 2 X-18, 2 MF, 2 spice, 3 OE (rad!)

anway, here are some shots of the garden from last week...

how're you liking the straight coco outdoors?
is it watered automatically? or hand watered?
and do you find the coco dries out too quickly out doors?
I'm in a similar sort of climate
