What I would do is put the cfls in the middle and do a vertical style with the girls around the lights. I would put all 3 cfls, one above the other. CFL Vertical style MIGHT help out.
If you want to stay with the horizontal I would try and keep them as squat as possible and use string, thread, yarn to bend the branches down so the canopy stays as low as possible. More stretch especially with cfls will end up with next to nothing down below and wasting grow energy.
If you actually let them go until they are actually done I think you can get about 1/4 of decent bud and maybe 1/2 of trim/popcorn. Most who first start get "scissor happy" and start taking tester buds and end up with maybe a couple bowls. How do I know this? well I did it when I first started LOL. I can't count how many cfl's I have sitting around in my pad and just use them to replace anything that goes out in my house.
congrats btw, they are looking good BUT if you had them under at least a 250hps you could easily get a couple ounces especially with the widow.
but I would def. start training them down if you are going to stick with horizontal
Haha awesome guys thanks for your inputs, i just may have to come up with a prize for whoever had the closest guess The reason i only have 1 small plant is cos i'm going away right after this is scheduled to be harvested so wont have time to smoke more than 1 ounce but i will clone and use the SOG method wen i get back for sure.
From wat i can tell, i'll be getting close to about half a zip. On my next grow i'll be switching to a 600w HPS bulb. I wanna get some serious nugs going. I'll let everyone know how i go.
Hey just thought i'd update u guys and let u all know that my plant yielded 28.49 grams. I did swap my CFL lights to a 400w HPS light halfway through the flowering cycle. So those of you who guessed an ounce or there abouts good on you.
Here's a pic of the finished product. Freshly cut and about to be hung out to dry
Yea silly wet weight isn't what your looking for
as said before you will lose at least 60%-75% percent of that once it's dry. I've had over ten ounces wet dry out to less than four.
