Sad to say but at least that B with an itch wife of his cannot bother him anymore. He's riding and rolling as we speak just the way he wanted.

RIP for sure you deserve it Mr. Hopper.

Flashback was a great one - Hoosiers, Apocalypse Now, Easy Rider, and so many others

I don't think Dennis ever surpassed his performance in "Easy Rider". That film had a profound effect at the time, and his characterization of a guy getting stoned was memorable. Still one of my favorite all time cinematic performances, and a classic of it's day.

he was in one of my favorite movies WATERWORLD! (not on too many peoples' fave list)
 
I will never forget like 10 years ago or so i was watching the barret jackson auto auction and they had the 2 bikes that hopper and fonda rode in easyrider up for sale.They went for like 25000 us.I could not beleive it.I am canadian but even i can recognize a great piece of americana.Would give my left nut too have 25 gs back then.

Fantastic actor, his life story is pretty fascinating too, his mother was told his father was killed during WWII, then one day years later he turns up at home, turns out he'd been deep undercover for the SOE in Europe, that totally screwed up young Dennis' head and is a large part of why he was genuinely crazed.
