I was driving from one job site to another and i had to take a call...
so i pull over under a bridge to stop in the shade so i could speak on the phone and write down some notes...
not 2 minutes goes by and a Dept. Of Transportation worker knocks on my passenger side window...i roll the window down and say "hi"...the nice guy asks if i need assistance and if i'm ok...
i am shocked!! i respond that all is well, i just wanted to stop for an important call and to write some stuff down...i look in my rear view mirror to see he has arrived with all the lights flashing and has made the shoulder behind me very safe. (in case he needed to work on my car, i guess).
i was not in my home state, where the norm is to blow past the stranded motorists or scrape them off the road after a disaster occurs...
so i would like to say: "Thanks" to that kind stranger who actually stopped to see if i needed anything.
thank you kind sir...keep up the good work that you do.
how about you, anything nice happen to you lately?
