I have been through strikes, gone hungry and done without in my support of unions.

only an idiot would be against a union that can keep your job safe, protect your pay rate, provide for your old age, provide health insurance, and collective bargaining.

I will glady pay union dues to have a secure future.

im in a union and yes indeed lola it does make sleeping at night much easier rather than my old job making auto parts in a factory that closed down and i didnt know if i could keep my house and vehicle. i gladly pay for it i can go to doc free dentist free....workin at a gas station or a restraunt dont get that (no offense anyone, i know times are tuff and what ya can get go for it)

Actually they are closer to a political organization (11th largest campaign contributer). They built their empire on the backs of workers that had to join the union just to get the job.
