Ive grown the skunkberry. Its good weed and youll be happy with the harvest. I had 2 pheno's. Suprise suprise - a northern lights pheno and a blueberry leaning pheno. Like many blueberry crosses, the bluebery pheno had purple striped, stout stems and blueberry type buds on it and i just loved it. Good taste and great high. Its leaves were generally a bit fatter than the NL pheno.

The nl pheno was good to but it lacked good taste and had just a tiny bit more of a nl buzz, a little more indica. Like NL, the leaves on this pheno are more slender and sativaish looking.

(The peak boys use their NL in the cross and i swear, ive grown 5 differnt NL's including sensi's and Dr. Atomic, and Peaks was the best of the bunch)

Its hard to tell from the pics but either way, its damn good weed for the money

Hey tec9,

Those skunkberries are beautiful, that is some of the best smoke I have ever had.

My skunkberry was very easy to clone and my favorite smoke, I would still have it today if it was not for some BS that happens in life.

Excited to see how this grow turns out.

And Peak breeds logically:

They have (as some of us) realized that the truest pillars of Cannabis can be reduced to Northern Lights and Skunk genetics which are BOOSTED with the addition of Blueberry.

Skunkberry has some teeth in her and might produce paranoia and anxiety very close to that of some old Colombian weed we used to get in Costa Rica.

Let her RIPE to tame that wild side... unless you like it that way.

Or, like I mentioned previously, keep the Blueberry phenos only.

Finally and important:

She responds GREAT to multiple harvesting. Harvest the tops and then give her some molasses and wait for those lower buds to ripe accordingly. Take your time and let her be the one to tell you when.

Leaves will turn into colors all the way to almost black/purple.

Royal lineage for sure!

May I recommend Northernberry for your next run?

Hands down, some of the best Ganja I've had the pleasure to encounter.

Namaste!

Warning: Spider Mites love them TOO.

The previous post as well as this note were written after a generous Skunkberry bong hit... the Colo pheno.

Hella High Folks!

I just ran Peaks Skunkberry, some TOP SHELF smoke. A strong sweet berry odor and rock hard buds . . . just amazing.

Hope you don't mind a few pics of the grow! Everything they have is great, try their Northern Lights if you haven't already, VERY VERY FROSTY!

Your grow looks great man! I'll tell you one thing I observed for the SKunkberry, she likes nitrogen all the way to week 5 or so, I kept it on the low side using Bio-Bizz Fish Mix @ 50% strength, but it made all the difference in the world, the buds PACKED on weight all the way to week 8 and still finished in time.

Anyways, that's compared to Skunk and AK-47, but still, she likes a little more Nitrogen. She also seemed to really like a stiff wet-dry cycle, I usually watered right before he leaves drooped and she seemed to like that best.

Can't wait to see your grow finish! Looking good!

Thanks man! Yah the waiting is the hardest part, or so they say. This plant produced some really great buds, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Your plants look great, be sure to keep us updated!

Honestly I'd say the Skunkberry is the best smoke I've seen to date, including strains I've grew, friends have grown, and the cali herb I've sampled. The smell is all berry and the smoke is REALLY smooth and strong - very giggly, happy, euphoric . . .

I've been drying/curing for 3 or so weeks, in 1 more week I'll throw some cured pics up.
