Ok, I just wanted to get something started and post some pics. I had ran a poll a while back about GRAPE APE VS: GREEN CRACK VS: HEADBAND - http://icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=166475 - With the results of that all pretty close, I decided I would run all 3. I wanted to stick with one, but I had 5 of each that were ready to get growing.

Currently I am running just a 1kw MH and have been vegging for about 12 days under 24hr light. My grow tent is 5'x5'x7' and have an 8" 750cfm fan for exhaust/air cooled hood. I plan on adding another 5'x5' section and another 1kw light in the next few weeks.... I also have the black and white poly plastic to replace the crappy black stuff when I remodel the space.

I have all the plants in 3-5gal nursery pots, I wanted to see the variations in the plants due to container size...I am using Fox Farm O.F. and Roots 707 mixed together. All of my nutrients so far have been organic teas and Earth Juice.

I am going to post more pictures soon, but here are the girls at 11 days under the 1kw MH. I plan on switching to 12/12 in the next week or so. I have been doing some minor LST to help spread the plants out.

Suggestion: Might want to concider supercroping the main branches (if plants are healthy) then wait a week or so till they recover then flower.

If you haven't ever snapped them then maybe just try it on a few - if done correctly they will develop much better above the once damaged knot.

Its amazing the difference - good luck.

Also might want to conciser setting up a scrog screen net to even out the canopy after stretch ?

Tactical - Thanks for the advice. I tried that on one of the Headband plants the other day, I guess I should go ahead and do that to the rest of them....I have also been trimming out the bottom 1/3 growth as well...I will also add the screen after the first 3 weeks or so of flower. You think that is about the time the stretch will end?

Ive always grown trees with alot of veg time, flower them when there between 3 - 4 ft.

They never stretch much, maybe only 1 more foot till there done.

2 weeks stretch then they dont get much taller.

Wowwww! I bet those take a while to veg then. I need to get this grow onto flower asap. I will keep tying them down a bit and work the screen in there and I am hoping that will help maximize the yield. Thanks again for stopping in, please keep checking in!!

I have been hitting them every other day with some Earth Juice formulas. I don't have a specific regime I am following, I should though...I had some overcrowding issues in my last run that caused some PM in late flower. I also added a portable AC this time as well. I am hoping that thinning out the bottom 1/3 for airflow and the AC will help with my environment.

Just wanted to post a few updated pics....I spent yesterday thinning out the bottom growth that wasn't getting any light....I didn't do any thinning on my last run and I paid for that in small/airy flowers rather than all nice and dense blooms like the top colas.
