Yea, I picture them in my head with their little green hands going "gimmie gimmie gimmie!" to the lights :)

From all my studies on this website and more it seems to me as long as you can create the right growing conditions (light, soil, temperature, and humidity) the rest is just a matter of how much you want to do. Starting small has worked really good for me. I wish all the best to you! :tiphat:

Day 6

Day 6

Plants 1-6: All doing well, everyone got some water today.

Plant 7: Still no pop, may end up pulling her. Gonna give her two more days.

Removed the paper plates to make more room. I think I really only need those when I add more water then the soil can hold. (I have cut holes in the bottom of the Poweraide bottles to help control over watering).

Day 32

Day 32

If you noticed I pulled all the pictures don't worry. I only did it on request from my partner citing security issues. So only text updates from now on. (I'll post final images when i'm done for a week or so, can't leave you guys completely in the dark.) :tiphat:

Plants 3,4, and 5 all turned out to be males.

plant 2 I'm sure is a female.

The jury is still out on the other two but I should know in a couple of days. I've replaced the two vegging CFLs with 40watt 2700k so things should pick up a bit. Having to remove the 3 males is probably a good thing at this point, that cab was getting pretty crowded and it was a PITA to keep moving them around everyday. If anyone has any questions i'll do my best to answer them, remember this is my first grow and i'm trying my best to soak up all the knowledge I can get.

Also on a side note, it's always been difficult for me to stay interested in anything for more then a week, so in a kindred spirit kinda way these plants are helping me and much as I help them grow.

i always like when there in trays because you can just pour water in the tray, wait til they soak it up then drain. If youre not having any problem filing the box up, then you could cut the plant number down to 4 or less

I actually ended up with two out of the initial 6 that were females, perfect for that box (unless they grow that much more). :plant grow:

Day 35

Day 35

Down to two females in the box and did some LSting to tame them, one grew right into a light and scorched a bit which made me a bit nervous and smelled up the room.

On a good note I finally got my homemade carbon scrubber working. It's my own design, cost about 12$. I did have to make a custom part to connect it to a fan but it's works great so no complaints.

The fan is in back and the rest is just 2" PVC with a screw on cap for the bottom. On the inside is a cloth bag with carbon inside. It's loaded though, the carbon reaches halfway into the 90 degree bend.

Day 67 - Ready for Harvest?

Day 67 - Ready for Harvest?

Well now that I got my growing license I can post pictures again, I also have a question about whether my plants are ready or not. I'm guessing not but you may have a different opinion.

Thanks for looking!

I didn't read the whole thread, but if you want to do DWC and it is too loud do to the air pump. You can use a powerhead (circulating pump popular in aquariums) for the same oxygenating effect, so long as it disturbs the surface. Good Job.

yeah man, they look tasty but still a few weeks from ripe.

i've run several strains that needed to go for 12 and 14
weeks to achieve their fullest potential.

if you don't already have one you need to get yourself
a handheld microscope, and you can find several models
available at Amazon starting at $10.00.

and get the 30X, anything stronger and it becomes
problematic to hold the lens steady enough to be
able to focus.

peace, SOG
