HMMMM, no comments or suggestions?????^^^^

Dude, you're messing with those seeds too much!
Germinating is easy, put seeds in moist soil and leave them alone!

Check Tom Hill's germination thread, it's sticky on his page.
I followed his method and got germination rates close to 100%.
(over 100 seeds, 15 different strains)

Soaking in water, and paper towels are total waste of time IMHO. You will get much better success if you just drop seeds in clean soil or jiffy and let them do their thing.:blowbubbles:

!!!KISS!!!

Okay, well I kinda know I shouldn't mess with them, but it was like 6-7 days they have been in the jiffy pellets and no sprouts!? So I wasnt messing with them, just misting them with water every 12hrs<used this method before and out of 18 seeds I started before 17 showed taproot, 17 sprouted, and 13 were females....so I know it works,,,But that's another grow...So, back to this one...does anybody knows by looking at the pics above if these seeds are still viable/good? will they sprout if I put them back in jiffy pellets or shoud I chance it and put them in my FFLW soil....sure dont wanna waste it if they dont sprout, shit is expensive...that's why I asking guys.....HELP!

Put seeds back to dirt. Give them a chance, you got nothing to loose. Your problem migh be that jiffys are too moist. They don't need to be soaking wet. And no need to mist them 2 times a day. Give them water only if the jiffy looks dry. If they are too wet, seeds will drown and/or rot.

Ya man, Its all about the paper towel.

fold a paper towel like 3 times get it moist. Put seeds on it, fold again, them place in a ziplock bag. you will have sprouts the 1st day. and more every day after that.

HOLD ON!!!
How old are those seeds any way? They need to sit for a while. When i 1st get seeds off a plant only like one in ten will sprout but if i let them dry and put them in the fridge for about 6 months to a year I can get like 80% out of them.

If they aren't that old then just hang onto them for a couple of months. Trust me man. I'm telling ya.

I've been growing for decades and here is the way I do it. I put the seeds into a cup of water and keep it at 78f degrees. Once the seed splits and starts to form a bit of a root I put it directly into the soil.

I just started 3 Jems this way and they were nicely up above the soil after a couple of days. I never liked the peat pellets. I sometimes sterilize the top layer of soil in the nuker to make sure there is no damping off disease lurking.

In my opinion if your seeds were nicely sprouted and then failed to keep growing you are possibly looking at damping off disease which is a frequent problem with regular garden seeds. It's a fungus and is so common that almost every garden center sells a product called "No Damp". Overly wet media promotes damping off.

Thanks bro! that's exactly what I did yesterday evening...most of them this time showed a lil splitting or a lil taproot emerging, so I planted 1/4" dwn directly in soil...no jiffy pellet either....so we will see what happens...:thank you:
